Great location, good base, a little lacking in parts.

Great location, spacious bedrooms. Easy check in. Parking on drive (only fits one car but on street available) secure back yard.

No dishwasher, some damaged chairs/crockery and only one champagne flute and 3 or 4 wine glasses for a house that sleeps 8!!!

Bentinck Bad Xmas Stay - avoid

Location, comfortable mattresses on some beds

Broken dining room and garden chairs, dirty, chipped cups, plates & glasses, stained duvet covers, cracked ceramic hob that you can hardly see the controls for, not enough utensils or pans, one small sharpe knife, no jug, no microwave dishes or covers, not enough glasses and broken/chipped ones, freezer draw broken and cut finger on it, freezing top family room, tiny radiator right next to single bed and some radiators had no control valves to be able to switch them down to be able.to leave the upstairs one on longer without heating the whole house which was boiling at a temperature of 26.8 when we got there. The pictures are very deceptive, the lounge is tiny, ripped and uncomfortable couches that you couldn't even fit us all in. 2 x two seaters and a 3 seater, no room to bring chairs in from the dining room, the TV was so old and way too small, some buttons on the remote didn't work. How can you charge a £100 damage payment and an extra £50 for our little dogs when the house is in the state it is in! Wish we'd stayed at home and not wasted £580 on a 2 night stay that we didn't enjoy.

Beautiful big house in a great location. Near to trams but future enough out of the busyness of Blackpool. Parking on street, no charge

Unfortunately the lock had been broken on the back door, took some organising to get someone to sort it out....4hrs later maintenance came, ruined our 1st night out. After that though it was all good.

Ideal venue for a get together, clean, tidy and welcoming.

Plenty of room for our group, location was ideal just far enough out of the madness of Blackpool but close enough to our venue. Very clean and tidy AND there was ice in the freezer 😉

The majority of mugs were chipped and similar with the glass tumblers. Nit-picking really, we found that we spent most of our time in the kitchen and the lighting was VERY bright come the evening. Could do with a dimmer switch, a separate switch for either end of kitchen or just a separate table lamp AND if property was at full capacity, that would be a lot of washing up with no dishwasher.

Hassle free, warm property and comfortable so easy to get into Blackpool promenade

Windows very dirty on the outside, weed on the drive and back of the garden, multiple lights not working down stars and bedroom. Pillows wafers thin, top floor and middle floor showers plugs blocked with hair which we cleared out as it was late ⏰ not the evning

Beautiful home, this was booked for 3 service users and 3 staff.

The house was lovely and clean, although when using the pottery and pans etc we found that these were dirty and some of the pans were rusty

Amazing property we were a group of 4 adults and 5 children and there was plenty of space for us all, the family bedroom was great and was really large. All the beds were very comfortable. Everything was clean and modern and kept in Excellent condition.

Spotless Retreat and Perfect Getaway

I loved the cosy atmosphere, spacious, natural light, and how very clean the house was. The well-equipped kitchen and comfortable living spaces made it feel welcoming.

I liked the very clean condition of the house, the toilet and the kitchen. The house was a perfect retreat, combining comfort and cleanliness. Its cosy atmosphere made it feel like home, while the spacious layout allowed for easy movement and relaxation.

Very clean comfortable convenient stay near to Blackpool and st Anne’s.

Near to the starr gate tram stop. Handy for supermarkets by car and a Morrison’s local in walking distance. Nice walks possible to both Blackpool centre and St Anne’s centre from the property. Extremely clean on arrival. Property was much larger than expected- loft room sleeps up to 5 with 2 large doubles + a single, middle floor has 3 double rooms. All with plenty of space. There are 3 bathroom/shower rooms, including one near the front door with a walk in shower - ideal for avoiding muddy paws after a dog walk! Large fridge freezer and kitchen with enough utensils for cooking proper meals. LOTS of cupboard space making it easy to keep tidy. Very helpful team at DYSA who helped us on the phone with an early check in with no problems. Highly recommend.

Some of the drinking glasses were cracked and generally just needed some better glassware in the kitchen.

Lovely holiday home clean and well equipment for a peaceful weekend break

The house is excellent, could of slept 11 people bed really comfy very spacious 3 bathrooms very close to the fair and beach and a 5 drive from st Anne’s however in a very quite residential area of Blackpool has everything you need very well equipped

I can’t fault the holiday house - small back yard however you have a whole beach a walk away - my only concern was contact on my departure asked where to leave the keys and latest checkout was 10am little early for a Sunday morning when your on holiday

The house was clean and tidy

There was a washing machine but no drier/ washing line The kitchen did not have any baking trays.cassrrole dishes.scissors. Whisk..jug.bowls for mixing The kitchen chairs were uncomfortable and 1 had springs sticks out of it. There was only 2 smoke alarms and both were hanging of the ceiling.The second storey bathroom pull switch was about 2 inches long and utterly unless your 6 foit tall. There is not escape procedures for the ones in the loft. Def not going again as there was 2 celiacs in our party that is why we cook our own food. Very dossapointed.

Only got check-in info on morning of arrival (after chasing the contact address) and no check-out information at all, so communication a bit weak; but that doesn't let down the overall experience being good

It would benefit from bedside lights in all of the bedrooms and something to hang clothes on after they have been washed. No recycling bin so ended up taking lots of recycling and glass home with us. It was also impossible to have a shower without getting the bathroom floor quite wet and then nothing to dry up with as there were no spare towels.

Great house, and great location for our group of adults and children.

The accommodation itself was great; ample size for our needs (a mix of adults from age 5 to 50) and had plenty of space without feeling on top of each other. Very clean and had all the facilities we needed. Small outside which was nice but we didn’t really use as was our most of the day. Location was great. It is on the south side of Blackpool (which I would say is a nicer area of Blackpool). South Pier within walking distance. We spent most of our time in the Central Pier area and a tram station is about a 5 minute walk with a regular service. Didn’t really spend much time exploring the immediate area, but there was a small shop about 5 mins walk along with an Indian restaurant, Italian and fish & chip shop. We got takeaways from the Indian restaurant and fish & chip shop and couldn’t fault them. Had to contact DYSA once whilst there , as couldn’t locate the keys for the back doors; but all resolved straight away. Overall, we had a great stay and would highly recommend the place.

Lovely house! Very clean and spacious. Further enough out the way that you could sleep on a night in peace but close enough that there was busses and trams on a regular Basis which were only a 5 minute walk away

Advertised as having a dishwasher which was ideal as we were travelling with young children who’s bottles need a good clean however there wasn’t actually one. Also windows that we couldn’t shut due to being stiff one of which had a key which took us a day to even manage to get it out to close the window which made the property freezing

Superb

The house was very comfortable and nicely decorated. The location was great. Easy access to trams. Bedrooms were good sized, and there was lots of storage space and plenty of room for a travel cot. Bathrooms were lovely. I would definitely be happy to stay there again .

Little things - there was an iron but no ironing board. Had a baby with us, and it was great to have the washing machine, but there was nothing to hang washing on. No dishwasher. Limited towels, only 1 kitchen towel. No hairdryer, as stated. Very squeaky stairs. Yard was small but nice and enclosed. However, it could have been done with having some nice flower pots to make it more attractive to sit in . As I have said, these were all little things. They didn't spoil our stay in the house, but they would have made our stay better .
