Cookies & the clear instructions on the room upon arrival. Getting in and out of the property was easy and hassle free and very secure - something which is ver reassuring as a solo female traveller.
Nothing! Though disposable slippers would be a nice added bonus. (I brought my own this time)

We met friends there and it was a nice relaxed place to stay near a great breakfast cafe. We had a good evening meal together in the quiet upstairs dining room with great service and the bed was very comfortable and the room was spotless and beautifully decorated. Chocolate cookies were delicious.
Lots of narrow stairs, the room and shower room were on the small side.

Lovely pub with character
Very steep stairs. No help taking luggage down as no reception in the am. Tiny room - not what I expected from photos. Could not even find a space to put my open cabin bag luggage . Food in restaurant acceptable - should not charge the amount by card and then give you a receipt saying service charge is optional! Should show prices of stuff in the bar in the room. WiFi not reliable
