Well appointed and bright lighting which was perfect for doing makeup and hair.
The open shower concept left the mat soggy even though we tried diligently to aim the water away from the shower opening. Salzburg is very humid so even when we made sure to hang up the mat it remained wet throughout our stay. The hair dryer wants very powerful so drying hair took longer- again some of this is because Salzburg is humid.

Besides being super friendly, the location's perfect – close to town and surrounded by nature. It's great for an evening stroll.

Quiet, clean, excellent breakfast (homemade cakes), very friendly staff
Too expensive for the type of room. In the attic, you cannot stand upright in more than half of the room, the roof window cannot be fully opened, part of the bathroom is not separated from the room. Tolerable for me solo, but the room seems to be designed for even three people. From public transport uphill at night on an unlit field road.
