Hotel-Gasthof Maria Plain

The breakfast was excellent with a full variety of options. The quality of the food and drinks were quite high and the area was clean and tidy.

I wish we had a tea/coffee service in the room, as that's a fairly standard practice. The service was hit or miss. Some wait staff were okay while (most) others seemed bothered or barely tolerant of questions...overall I found the place lacking friendliness which is a bummer since the location is unusually lovely.

Peacefully beautiful and quiet location, elegant design of hotel enriched with beautiful paintings, great cuisine and friendly& pleasant behavior of all staff. Simply great experience.It felt just right and brought us back to old good and happy days. Many thanks

Nice hotel nice surroundings. Handy for airport for early flights home.

The evening meal was not a great experience. We were left waiting 45 minutes before the waitress came for our order. She would walk past us on numerous occasions and it was if we weren't there. Eventually she came to us and was very sharp and not helpfull. We would ask about the menu as it was in Austrian and we did not understand it all. She was most unhelpful. Eventually our starters came wich to be fair was very nice. Then another 40 minutes wait for our main course. Wich again was very nice. Dining experience just tarnished what was otherwise a nice stay.
