箱寝荘 - Hakoneso

Loved the separate bedrooms, 2 showers and 2 toilets. Everything you needed for a great stay was there. There were 6 people in our family and there was plenty of room. There was a karaoke bar on one lower level and a ‘girly’ bar on another level but we couldn’t hear any music. People out the front didn’t approach or disturb us. We could only hear the people above us moving around. Location was fabulous and would stay again. Thank you!

The businesses operating on other levels of the building was a surprise.

We loved everything about this apartment and we wish we would have stayed longer ! The location is beautiful, peaceful, and relaxing, making it the perfect place to unwind. We can’t wait to come back and stay here again. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Lovely place about a 14 minute walk from Hakone train station. The last 3-4 minutes are up a steep hill, but we managed with a 2 and a 4 year old and grandparents, so it's doable. The house itself has everhthing you need and even some lovely litrle bits for children including building blocks, Mickey Mouse plates, a stairgate should you need it, etc. We only stayed for one night which was a bit of a shame as we'd have loved to explore a bit more and make use of the house more. Would definitely stay again if we ever visit Hakone again.
