Lovely cosy cottage in a peaceful location

Such a lovely cosy cottage, it felt like a home from home. Beds were super comfy and the biscuits, cider and apple juice were very much enjoyed. We look forward to our next visit.

Would highly recommend for anyone who enjoys the country

Location was great for us to tour around Cornwall. lovely to have animals there as our toddler enjoyed them very much. Everything needed provided together with much appreciated milk/sugar/tea/coffee/biscuits/drinks for our arrival.

An excellent place to relax with family.

Peaceful surroundings. Very private. Hard wood or tiled floors ideal for dogs. Beautiful wood staircase in the property. Great sized sociable kitchen. Flower meadow and orchard lovely walks and views.

Sofas in lounge were a bit past their prime, although comfy, they were hard to get out of. Showers a bit small. Outside seating area could do with some cushions.

Peaceful, restful and wish we’d booked for longer

Lovely touches such as flowers in the kitchen and a welcome tray with goodies on it plus everything you need to either get you started or to see you through a short break. Lovely, enclosed garden to sit in with our dog and pretty walks straight from the barn. Very friendly, kind hosts.

Perfect venue and accommodation for a peaceful holiday with attractions nearby and good access for sightseeing, beaches,

Venue was excellent, and property very good. Nice and secluded but easily accessible for travelling around the area and sightseeing. The owners have thought of everything you might need for self-catering and the kitchen was well equipped. On arriving there was a bottle of their home made apple juice and cider for us and biscuits which made us feel very welcome. Beds were very comfortable. A good selection of books to read, puzzles and games for adults and children. Owners very helpful when we had an issue with our car and they sorted out a garage for us to get this checked out and sorted. Lots of lovely walks on the property and nearby and animals for children to engage with.

A delightful & welcoming stay!

The cottage was beautiful. The rooms were just the right size for all of us. The welcome tray was a lovely touch and much appreciated. The children enjoyed exploring the play area. Sadly we were only staying for a short time, as it was so lovely and quiet there (apart from our children). We will definitely be returning if we can.

We loved this cottage. Six of us Stayed here and had the best time with lovely walks nearby.

Super clean and had everything we needed. Great location for walks, pubs nearby. Hagrids seat ( wooden seating with a fire pit) was a lovely extra. Tavistock really close by. A lovely welcome package including their own cider and apple juice and eggs.

We loved everything, the cottage was cosy and clean. Being able to explore the farm and walk through all the fields was great. It was very safe for my small dog and it was so peaceful and quiet.

Meubels zijn versleten. Pannen en deksels horen niet bij elkaar. Grotere cottage heeft eigenlijk geen tuin. De tuin op de foto's is gezamenlijk. Of eigenlijk voor de 4 persoons cottage waar je doorheen loopt naar de grotere cottage.
