A real home away from home in a beautiful setting.

The beds were really comfortable. There were so many little extras to make your stay that much easier and enjoyable, such as the games and dvds. The kitchen was really well equipped.

Callington in May

Rock cottage was delightful, it had everything we needed and a fantastic view.

We struggled with the oven at first, something had burnt on the bottom so it smoked a bit, it was fine after a good clean.

Very well equipped with everything you need, just like a home from home. Excellent location. Would suit couples and families alike. Great to have access to the pool on the site. We enjoyed our meal at the pub as well, very reasonably priced.

Wonderful stay. Exceeded all expectations. Definitely recommend.

The property was excellent, clean , comfortable, welcoming and warm. Also an extremely well equipped kitchen. Water pressure excellent and hot water hot so long as follow very simple instructions given. The pub on site didn’t serve food on Wednesday, however the Rifleman volunteer is a 20 min walk away which did and was excellent. On the other days we ate at the onsite pub and the food was excellent, all homemade and generous portions.

Great location. Lovely cottage well equipped and plenty of space. Friendly and helpful owner. Also good site facilities and very useful information given about opening times. It was a very nice stay would definitely stay again.

There wasn't really anything but if I had to pick anything the hot tap in kitchen was a bit lethal and the oven hadn't been cleaned but nothing major and would definitely not stop me from returning again. Great place.

A comfortable dog friendly place to stay to explore Cornwall.

The location was very good for us and being dog friendly was great. The staff in the pub and restaurant were very friendly and helpful. Everything you needed was supplied in the bungalow and it felt very homely.

Great place, loads of room, great onsite facilities and nice location with good views.

Bungalow was excellent, we loved the on site pool and the local pub was great. My parents live in Launceston which is about 15 minutes away so that was perfect, we ordered groceries from the local Tesco (which is a few miles away) and collected them the day we arrived. There was plenty of space for the kids, we didn't even use one of the bedrooms and having 2 showers was handy. All the site facilities were almost next door to the bungalow, the pub, shop, both pools, gym and games room where about 50 metres down the road.

Shower water pressure was very poor, showers were like standing under a light drizzle. Beds could do with better mattresses, I actually found the kids beds to be more comfortable than our double. One of the beds headboards was broken and dangerous, luckily we didn't need the extra room so move the kids to the other bedroom. It had however been noted in the damage book and not sorted, I added this in and a few other small issues that could do with being looked at, nothing major and I suspect the reason this was not sorted was due to Xmas being just before our stay. UPDATE: Pandora kindly emailed me and immediately sorted the issue above. 10/10!

Good quiet location, lovely walking area with good pubs close by, once COVID has moved on.

The view from the chalet on a clear day, it was well equipped and comfortable. Good communication with host who replied quickly to any questions.

The single mattresses need a topper or upgrading. Patience is needed when having a shower, maybe a new shower head would help?
