Garden was absolutely beautiful, just like a Chelsea garden. Views were stunning, good location for walks into Matlock Bath. The place was immaculate. Milk in the fridge and ice pops in the freezer!
Not really a dislike, but the house is built into the cliff so the kitchen smelt of damp and was cold (but very welcome during 30c weather!) which might be cold in winter. The master bed was a tad firm for our liking but I'm really scrapping the barrel for any downsides to the property.

The cottage was beautiful, clean and well equipped with everything we needed and more. Perfect location, didn’t move car as could walk into Matlock and Matlock bath. We would love to come back. Views from cottage we’re spectacular, it was lovely sitting outside and listening to the birds, so peaceful and tranquil.
My only minor critique was the bed in the main bedroom was a little uncomfortable, the mattress was a little too firm for us and bed was creaky.

Well appointed beautiful cottage, close to everything. Very quiet, garden amazing and lots of room in both bedrooms. Paul and Melinda very attentive and helpful hosts- would stay again
The front door keys are difficult to manage in that the front door won’t lock. We left it unlocked the entire trip but felt the area was safe
