Quiet, cute, clean cottage. Perfect getaway.

We just had the best time at Rose Cottage. The place was just beautiful. So cute, clean with everything you need. The bubbly was very welcome for our anniversary. It was so good to look out at the blue tits in the front garden and sit out on the bench by the rooftops in the back yard. It was so quiet. We had the best sleep. The hosts were very responsive and friendly. We forgot to write in the visitors book. We will have to do it next time.

Perfect Christmas getaway

Cottage was clean and comfortable with everything you need, beautiful views and walking routes nearby. Added bonuses were the welcome goodies and Christmas decorations.

an absolutely lovely short break in a beautiful part of the UK.

The cottage is wonderful. It has beautiful views across the valley and feels like a home away from home. Fabulous shower, good water pressure, kitchen has pretty much everything you need. We even cooked a roast in it.

This was not an issue for us but the description says the cottage is not appropriate for older people or those with mobility issues. Pay attention to this.

Fantastic stay in a cute cottage with wonderful views. Great location for exploring nearby area.

Well stocked, cosy, very well maintained and decorated. Especially enjoyed the view and the powerful shower. My middle daughter loved the cat (we assumed was neighbours) who came to visit us.

Parking space, very small and having a larger family car we parked once in the space but soon realised car was too big and parked once road. This was no trouble at all and plenty of space to park once street.

Pristine, beautiful cottage, perfect location, a little gem in every way.

Loved the location, cottage is very spacious, walking distance to shops, pubs, cafes etc, scenery from cottage is beautiful, the hosts have made the cottage perfect, it’s so clean, decor beautiful, garden is like a secret garden, everything you need is already provided in the cottage. A lot of effort has been made to make this a beautiful place to stay, will definitely be back - we didn’t want to leave!!

Cottage was really pretty, comfortable and in a beautiful location. Lovely sitting out in the evening with my friends and a bottle of wine. Views were amazing, peaceful just what we needed after living in a city.

The property is immaculate, welcoming and has a quiet and relaxing feel the moment you walk in the door! The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the terraced outdoor space is currently spectacular! Every possible need has been catered for.

Beautiful accommodation with views

Absolutely beautiful cottage, perfectly decorated, very clean with everything you need. Xmas decor added the extra touch. It’s lovely for summer and winter and good central location.

The only negative is the sharp turn up a near vertical hill to reach it. With a car full of people and luggage my car was struggling so had to park on the flat road below and walk up and down everyday. Not a huge deal and would still book again.

Deceptively spacious, comfortable, homely and immaculate cottage with wonderful views and a fabulous private terraced garden. Off road parking space was perfect for 2 motorbikes and the welcome treats were lovely!
