Best Place We Have Ever Stayed

Best place we have ever stayed. Wendy and Danny provide an excellent service and go the extra mile in every respect. The breakfasts are incredible, the room very comfortable and clean. The house is decorated to a very high standard. The location is ideal for Maastricht which is an hours walk or a short bus journey away. It is also convenient for Oud Rekem which is considered one of the prettiest villages in Belgium. There is a Lidl 5 minutes walk away if needed.

The room and bathroom were so nicely done. There was also a work space and small balcony. The host/couple was so nice and welcoming. They did everything to make us feel comfortable. The breakfast was exceptional - we did not want to leave. The location is good - close to Maastricht. We would like to return.

Best B&B for us to date!!

Very warm welcome, perfect hosts (they even brought us to the place we needed to be). Great and spacious room, large and beautiful bathroom, magnificent first class breakfast ... the complete house is decorated top notch (Wendy is truly a professional decorator with heart and soul in her work) and so on. Service is simply above and beyond any expectations.

Only possible downside: the house is next to a quite busy road though noise level is perfectly acceptable.

Amazing!

Wendy and Danny are exceptionally kind hosts and their property is amazing. I was shown what true hospitality looks like. The house was amazing, and the breakfast was delicious. I definitely recommend the homemade yogurt as well!

Exceeded our expectations! Wendy and Danny are gracious hosts!

The bed and breakfast exceeded our expectations. It was a new bed and breakfast and didn't have many reviews yet, so we felt we were taking a gamble. Once we got there, we were welcomed by Danny and Wendy, showed us where to park our bikes (we cycled from Maastricht), and showed us our room. Their house is so nice and well cared for. Our room was much bigger than in the pictures, and much more comfortable than I thought. The bathroom was spacious and very clean. We had a chance to sit with them in the afternoon and chat, and they are such interesting and creative people! And the breakfast, oh the breakfast. It was so generous, with selections of cereals, breads, eggs, cold cuts, and cheese. The homemade yogurt with fruits and chia seeds were amazing!

This is not what I didn't like, but rather a note to those booking. Google Maps shows a different house when you look up the address, so make sure to go to the other end of the street. There's a sign/flag outside so you'll know when you're there!

Aangenaam verblijf met zeer goed ontbijt.

Het ontbijt was uitgebreid en super lekker (eieren zoals je wenste). De kamer was ruim. De eigenaars super vriendelijk. Zeer mooie tuin alhoewel we daar geen gebruik van hebben gemaakt. De ligging is perfect om te wandelen, te winkelen en naar de wellness te gaan.

Het toilet en de badkamer waren op de gang (stond in de beschrijving, dus geen kritiek). Ligt aan een drukke baan, dus echt rustig is het niet, maar niet echt storend.

Gelassenheit, Freundlichkeit, Komfort, Service und sehr leckeres Frühstück!

Von der Ankunft bis zur Abreise fantastisch. Das Grundstück ist schön eingezäunt mit einer großen Hecke, man bekommt von der Außenwelt nicht viel mit. Und so ist es auch gedacht, den auf dem Schild nach draußen steht "Zurück zur Realität". Danny und Wendy betreiben dieses B&B mit sehr viel Liebe und Leidenschaft. Eine kleine Insel der Gelassenheit und des Komforts. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber, gemütlich und sehr schön eingerichtet. Der Empfang ist freundlich und man bekommt alles erklärt. Es gibt auch ausreichend Parkplätze. Das Frühstück war absolut außergewöhnlich. Man sitzt im großen Salon, das Frühstück wird von beiden serviert und jedes Detail scheint durchdacht. Und es ist fast alles selbstgemacht. Und super lecker. Ich habe viele Hotels besucht, aber das war mit Abstand das Beste. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist für den Standard sehr gut. Wir wünschen beiden weiterhin viel Erfolg und können es nur empfehlen. Wir freuen uns wieder dort ein Raum buchen zu können im kommenden Jahr.

Fijn verblijf met super uitgebreid ontbijt

De eigenaren waren goed bereikbaar en dachten fijn mee. Kamer was erg netjes en het ontbijt was geweldig. Zeer uitgebreid en met veel zorg bereid. Centrum van Lanaken is vlakbij.

De badkamer zat op de gang, maar dit was van tevoren wel bekend en de badkamer zag er keurig uit.

Lyxigt B&B med omhändertagande personal och frukost i världsklass

Ett av de bästa ställen vi bott på! Helt fantastisk frukost med allt man kan önska. Personalen var mycket vänliga och välkomnande. Boendet är fint inrett och väldigt fräscht. Vi uppskattade också det lyxiga badrummet med stort badkar. Här bor vi gärna igen.

Moeilijk om iets te kiezen wat het meest is bevallen. Omdat vanaf de hartelijke begroeting, het verblijf in de prachtige kamer met idem badkamer en het telkens verrassende zeer uitgebreid onbijt tot aan het vertrek; alles ons zeer goed is bevallen.

Dat we weer naar huis toe moesten.

Wir wurden super gastfreundlich empfangen und haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Sehr gute Lage, für Maastricht und die Maasroute. Die Unterkunft ist geschmackvoll mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Außergewöhnlich und liebevoll zubereitetes Frühstück. Sehr empfehlenswert.

De locatie voor ons was zeer goed, de slaap en badkamer ruim en proper, het ontbijt was uitstekend en ruim voldoende. Vriendelijke ontvangst we waren zeer tevreden over alles.

WC buiten de kamer maar dat hangt af van het gebouw dus verwaarloosbaar.

Erg vriendelijke gastvrouw/ gastheer. Warm onthaal. Uitstekend uitgebreid ontbijt met verse producten. Mooie sfeervolle ambiance. Goede bedden. Alles ziet er schoon en netjes uit.

Ontbijt was ok. We kregen wel een hardgekookt ei met een getekend sip gezicht wat een rare streek was wat ons betreft. Accomodatie en toegankelijkheid was goed.

Het ontbreken van klantgerichtheid en vriendelijkheid van de host. We hebben ons niet echt “warm” welkom gevoeld. Bad gaf geen warm water, tv werkte niet naar behoren. Verder werden we ook niet echt persoonlijk wegwijs gemaakt door de gastheer.

Fantastische plaats en uitbaters

Vriendelijk ontvangst. Onmiddellijk hulp gekregen voor onze activiteit s avonds. Kamers meer dan voldoende Ontbijt was mega goed en uitgebreid ( was eigenlijk teveel voor ons ) Kortweg : Fantastische mensen Wij komen zeker nog eens terug!!!!

Heerlijk genoten van de prachtige accommodatie en de gastvrijheid van eigenaren Danny en Wendy!

Ons verblijf bij Bed en Bokes aan de Maaskant was in één woord geweldig! Een prachtige accommodatie, hele mooie ruime kamer met mooi uitzicht op de tuin. Uitstekende hygiëne en hele sfeervolle inrichting. Het ontbijt oversteeg alle verwachtingen: zeer uitgebreid en divers, met zorg en liefde bereid. Bovenal hebben de gastvrijheid en vriendelijkheid van Danny en Wendy ervoor gezorgd dat wij ons zeer welkom en thuis hebben gevoeld in deze prachtige B&B!!

Er viel ons niets tegen, sterker nog, onze verwachtingen zijn overtroffen!

Puur genieten!

Het verblijf was tot in de puntjes verzorgd. Mooie kamer met alle nodige voorzieningen. Daarnaast een zeer uitgebreid, lekker en vers ontbijt. De ligging van de bed & breakfast was ideaal als uitvalsbasis voor mooie wandelingen of fietstochten in de maasvallei of in het nationaal park Hoge Kempen. Daarnaast ligt Maastricht op 5 km, ideaal om met de fiets te bezoeken. Wendy & Danny hebben ons zeer hartelijk onthaald. Ze zien ons zeker nog terug!
