I liked the location It was a pleasant stay with things in case you forgot, like toothpaste. Local morrisons and right in the heart of the village. Warm, bed was comfortable.. milk in the fridge.. it was a pleasant experience

I would advise more chlorine as not enough. I couldn't smell it at all. I have a hot tub at home, so I am familiar with the right amount. The shower, the tray at the bottom leaks as its open at the bottom- couldn't do with the paint cleaning up in the shower as flaking off. Around the doorframe it's also coming off, just a tidy up really, for £180 it was supposed to be, you would expect it to be a little more attention to the smaller things. But honestly that's me just giving advise on how to go from 4* to 5* from my experiences. I would potentially visit again.. you can tell the owner is a nice soul..

Excellent - Really enjoyed the stay!

Really enjoyed our stay. Absolutely loved the hot tub - just what I needed for that relaxing experience. The place was well decorated, clean and had pretty much everything you needed for a weekend. There is a B&M around the corner that you can walk to and the town is also a walk away. The studio was super cosy!

My only issue was the parking situation. There was a car parked in the free space that we were told to park our car in for the entire stay. There’s a large car park that you pay to park in just outside though - so that helped.

the location was lovely Penrith seemed like a nice town and the interior of the property was nicely decorated on arrival.

The room was much smaller than it appeared in the pictures, it was unclear whether the booking was made for the studio or the cottage and pictures of both are on the listing. The hot tub was unquestionably overchlorinated and was not properly cleaned as we found an old plaster in it, something of a mood killer. I've gained a rash for my troubles, definitely from the chlorine.

We met Helen the owner was very nice. I would recommend this Studio. Very central, hot tub was a winner for me.

The location was spot on. The studio was tiny but adequate. The hot tub was a winner for me in a small beautiful court yard.

We could not seem to work the heater, as it was bitterly cold, but to be fare we weren’t inside much with it been over the new year.

A great place to stay for a long weekend.

The property is ideal for short term stays. It is very clean and tidy and has everything to suit your needs. Only a minutes walk from all the shops and restaurants which I highly recommend. Helen was extremely helpful in answering all my questions. And very quick to respond.

Perfect getaway with the girls!

A very friendly welcome with the cottage perfectly set up with a little Christmas sparkle. Very comfy witg everything we needed and more. We had a great time relaxing in the hot tub!

An extra toilet roll would have been appreciated.

Lovely property, great couples get away for the night.

The property is in a good location, close to lots of shops. It is very clean and welcoming as you enter. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking a meal in the evening (providing our own food). The hottub was clean and easy to use.

The parking designated to the property wasn’t available as there was another car parked there. This wasn’t a big issue as there’s a carpark around the corner but could be an issue if you have lots of stuff to carry or need accessible parking.

Everything was perfect, even down to little tea lights for a lovely ambience.

The cottage was beautiful. Everything provided for a comfortable stay. The hot tub was amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed it. There were plenty of towels provided which we were extremely grateful for. Although we didn’t cook at the cottage, there was plenty of cutlery and utensils provided if you wanted to. It was lovely and quiet considering it’s a minutes walk to the high street. All in all a lovely little cottage.

never again, rabbit went missing was more important then us having privacy

When we booked 4 and half months before the stay we looked forward to our roof top hot tub, to be down graded by contractors

Having local children coming in garden while trying to enjoy our hot tub chill time, garden situated in a alley so constantly people walking past and i believe this to be the only garden not totally covered to public, 3 times moving our car to accommodate the contractors due

I didnt like the fact its miss advertised on the pictures way we arrived after 3 1/2 hours journey to get to the cottage to find the hot tub was freezing cold the things was looking forward to the most to then contact the property 21:00 hours having people knocking on the door wanting ro come into property to re fill the hot tub this will take a hour they said bare in mind 9 o'clock at night when we was only there for one night wanted peace n quiet for then the owner of the property to come in be complete rude slamming doors in our faces it utter disbelief about this situation

Great experience

The cottage is very nice and cozy, well equipped, super clean. The balcony with the hot tub is super enjoyable. There is a small local cafe a few steps away from the cottage were we had a lovely breakfast. There are nice restaurants just a few blocks away. The town is super nice and quiet to go for a stroll.

Gorgeous and cosy getaway

Lovely location, really quiet and close to the town centre. We absolutely loved the outdoor area with the hot tub, it was so relaxing. The room was a good size and the kitchenette had everything you need. The bathroom was also beautiful and clean. We will definitely return

Perfect base for exploring the area! The hot tub was a great added bonus!

Everything you need for 2 people for short stay! Hairdryer, towels and kitchen appliances provided! After booking I made a request for a birthday cake to be left in property on arrival as a surprise for my partner and Helen went above and beyond to help with it. She really was fab and went the extra mile to make our stay memorable!

(Studio) Lovely host, great location, ok for short stay

We stayed in the deluxe studio, it was easy to find with the instructions that was sent which was great. The host Helen was lovely and very responsive on messages. The location is fantastic—just a 30-second walk to the town centre. The hot tub was great and made such a difference, it was very relaxing! Overall, the location and host were great, but the space is better suited for a very short stay rather than a longer visit in our opinion.

The studio is compact. The kitchenette is very small and so was the bathroom. The fridge was pretty small too so we didn’t buy too much for the 4 night stay, and the kitchen was missing sharp knives (though the host did respond quickly and apologised for this) so we ate out the rest of our trip. We thought that it would be difficult to make anything more than a bacon sarny or toast, it was awkward due to very limited space, with such a small space for washing up also. The shower was small, making it tricky to wash long hair or move around in it comfortably. There was a few coat hooks to hang clothes but no wardrobe (which we didn’t realise until we got there). Drying towels after using the hot tub was difficult during wet weather. While there was a fan, we struggled to get it working properly even after replacing the battery in the remote—it only seemed to blow warm air and we couldn’t find a manual. It was quite warm so we had to keep the door open as long as we could as there’s no windows to open. The parking was tricky, if you’re not comfortable getting in and out of very tight spaces. Someone took our space on the second day and it seems some people just park wherever (not the fault of the host), but maybe some signage or more obvious that the space belongs to the studio would be good.
