Had a great time in Penrith - beautiful part of the country

Excellent location and amazing apartment

Upstairs toilet - the seat was stained with urine and the seat pads are all broken and disintegrating- really needs changing Kitchen floor wasnt clean as it had sticky residue on it that stuck to our socks

Nice place in a good location

Nice modern clean studio apartment close to the centre. Welcoming bright hallway nicely decorated for Christmas. No dedicated parking but a cheap and safe car park at the bus station nearby. Decent sized bedroom, comfortable bed, good bathroom although the shower head is quite low down. Bedroom and bathroom are upstairs, downstairs is a reception area/small kitchen with a breakfast bar and stools. As other reviews have noted - there is no where to sit apart from the bar stools -a small sofa or a couple of comfy chairs downstairs would be nice if there was a way to fit them in. The kitchen has an induction hob and oven along with toaster, kettle and microwave plus enough cookware to make full meals. Nice place and a good stopover to the lakes

The fridge has a small freezer section at the top which was completely iced up and therefore unusable. Also quite sparse on the sort of basics most places provide. Coffee, tea and sugar were there but nothing else. The salt cellar was empty and although there was a cloth to wash up with there was no washing up liquid - we had to buy some from the Spar. Two forks and knives provided for eating but one set wasn't full sized for some reason. The kitchen bin was operated by a sensor but as the battery had run out it didn't work and we ended up leaving the lid up permanently. By and large this was a really nice place and kitted out to a high standard so these are fairly minor niggles.

Convenient for town, but also close to a busy junction.

Very clean. Well placed to access the town centre. Handy for groceries from the neaby Spar. Parking in the bus station car park nearby (cost £10 for two days).

The chapel is immediately next to a very busy mini roundabout, and the apartment we stayed in (Flat 6) is the nearest to the road being ground floor and on the corner within feet of the roundabout. There is constant traffic hum/noise from early til late. There is a very small sofa downstairs and no tv downstairs. There is a full size oven, but no baking tin or sheet, so cooking is very limited.

Our stay was very comfortable apart from the rooms being extremely warm. Would recommend to anyone travelling in winter.

Centrally located, making it easy to walk to restaurants etc. Very clean and high spec, with comfortable bedding. Good value for money.

Lack of close car parking required us to pay for public car-parks some distance away. Then the challenge was to carry our luggage quite some way. The rooms were very warm, with no way of cooling them down i.e. all windows were fixed, with no means of ventilation. Our bedroom was 26deg- poor sleeping was the result. ( I acknowledge a fan was available, which was utilised, but did not cool the air)

Great location, very comfortable bed, modern decor and lovely shower.

There is no chair/sofa to sit on, there is only the bed or the stools at the breakfast bar. Would be so much nicer and comfortable if there was a chair downstairs.

Beautifully presented and thought out chapel conversion. Just outside the Lake District proper but convenient for the motorway and close to supermarkets.

Perfect place to stay.

Really nice apartments in the centre of Penrith. Pubs, restaurants and a Spar all within 2mins. Big Sainsbury’s about 10min walk. Apartment is split over two levels and has everything you’d need. Very easy self check-in. Will definitely stay here again when in the area.

Clean and comfortable.

The location is good and only a few miles walk to the town centre. Parking is nearby and free between 6pm and 8am then you can pay at a machine or on a parking app. There is no parking in front of the apartment and double yellow lines so we just parked on the pavement and unloaded our luggage there. It was fine. The apartment was spotlessly clean and the beds were comfortable. There is a small "Spar" supermarket about a 3 minute walk away and the large Sainsburys supermarket is a nice 7-10 minute walk through the town centre. We stayed here for 2 seperate nights.

On first arrival we used the codes provided and on entering the apartment my wife and daughters found the apartment was still in use and full of other people's belongings.. This could have been either really embarrassing or dangerous! I then found an email from the apt. Sent that day to say they had moved us to a different apartment? Not everyone checks emails all day long! Especially when driving from the South of England. A phone call informing us of the apartment move would have prevented any confusion. We were in apartment 9 on the 2nd floor so it's tricky with heavy luggage. Our first stay a dining chair leg was broken to the point of collapse had anyone sat in it. We informed the owner and this had been replaced a week later when we stayed again. Our second stay we found the base of one of the 2 seater sofas had completely collapsed and couldn't be used comfortably. There was also a wall socket behind one of the beds that was hanging off with wires exposed. The apartment was really warm inside. Fans are provided but I think it would be quite uncomfortable if the temperatures outside were really high.? It was 23° when we stayed..

Lovely dog friendly apartment with good access to town and Lake District.

Lovely apartment, perfect for dogs. Very quiet for the dog so he settled easily. Hosts were very attentive and sent all necessary information, making the stay easy and seamless. Lovely location.

It was very humidity in the room as windows could not be opened, which made it harder for the dog to go to sleep. Other than this, no complaints.

A lovely spot to stay that’s perfectly placed for exploring Penrith.

The apartment itself was stunning, with huge windows that flooded the apartment with light. The beds were really comfy and there were plenty of bathrooms for everyone. The apartment was really clean and well equipped with everything you needed. It was easy to find and handily located for exploring Penrith. Although there’s no parking included, the bus station car park is literally across the road.

We liked everything about the apartment. It was a little warm - however, we did come on the hottest day of the year so far, so that is to be expected! The top floor skylights only opened so far but there were lots of fans were provided which helped cool us down a little, but we weren’t uncomfortably hot.

The property was perfectly located for our stay and very well equipped

Unfortunately the apartment was exceptionally hot and we were only provided with one fan. It would have been nice to of been provided with more fans for the bedrooms as unfortunately due to it being so hot none of us were able to sleep. We appreciate it has been very hot but feel more needs to be done to provide a more comfortable stay.

Property was great but my only niggle (and it is ver small!!) was that it was missing a sofa, after a long day hiking in the lakes it would have been nice to come back to the apartment to chill on a sofa and watch tv
