Size of the property.

I found the spiders in the cupboard and the washing sponge was worn, old and dirty.

We travelled to Ullswater to do some paddle boarding and stayed for the night. The house was clean , tidy and in a good location close to shops and restaurants. There is parking at the front and rear of the house and space on the side street which was ideal as we were in two cars. Good check in and out times, Overall a pleasant experience.

Just a couple of small issues, the main living room to the house is closed off and there is someone living in it, the only thing separating it from the rest of the house is a locked door. The house has no smoking signs in every room but you can smell cigarette smoke coming from behind the locked door,. After 11pm you can hear someone moving around and they were loud on the telephone. There is a TV but it has an indoor Ariel and the signal is poor but you do get Netflix. Settee is a little uncomfortable. It was a little bit expensive for one night..

Very spacious. Lovely and clean. Would definitely stop again.

Quiet area not too far from town centre. Private parking.

It was DIY done up on the cheap / not by professionals with very uncomfortable couches, like sitting on a park bench or worse. TV doesn’t work properly / can’t even get basic channels. The electrical outlets are faulty and my wife almost electrocuted herself with the air dryer, which in turn stopped the fridge from running, didn’t realise this until the next day and all our frozen food was ruined. Value for money? No it’s an £80 a night one all day long. Even just a door between another dwelling so you can hear everything in the next room. On arrival not even a complimentary anything.
