Fabulous and right in the centre of Penrith

This wee cottage is gorgeous, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The owners left everything we could possibly need and little welcome treats.

It was lovely, there was nothing we didn’t like.

Absolutely stunning property, great base if in Penrith, would highly recommend.

Absolutely stunning, well kept and looked after. Minute you walk through the door you are blown away with how lovely this place is and the little touches. Very peace and although hidden away, easy to find. Communication with the owners was easier, approachable and friendly. Great location, easy to get to from the train station, stone thrown from town and being able to walk where I needed to.

A very comfortable stay in a beautifully decorated house that felt like home away from home.

The hosts had thoughtfully provided tea, coffee, milk, a box of luxury biscuits and a bottle of Shloer on our arrival. Also, the hosts left us a box of toffees and fudge treats from a local shop.

The house is very well located in Penrith. It was very comfortable and has very good quality furnishings and equipment throughout. The owners, Helen and Alan were extremely attentive and helpful.

Beautiful cottage in a great location

Such a beautiful cottage! Tastefully furnished, well-equipped & with a lovely log burner that made our evenings even more cozy. The location for us was excellent: in the centre of small town, which is not too busy and flooded with tourists, where you can easily go to the shops or restaurants, but close enough (short drive) to nature and many recommended spots you should see. We definitely recommend Hideaway Cottage to everyone! Thank you again!

Dreamy little cottage

The place is both beautifully thought out/ decorated and immaculate. By far the cleanest place I've ever stayed. There is everything, (I mean everything!) that you could need for a home from home trip away. Penrith is charming and the location of the cottage is both hidden away in a quiet corner yet in the middle of everything too. Both myself and boyfriend would definitely return, or move in! High recommend, 10/10.
