Everything about the property, location and staff at the Firefighters Charity was excellent.

It was impossible to speak to Sykes Cottages and very difficult to get the necessary information.

I was working in the area and No.9 provided a great base for my needs.

The house was comfortable, warm and adequately equipped. The receptionists were exceptional. I didn’t realise the site is the Fireman’s Charity, therefore I was pleased to be able to support it a small way and will look to book again in the future.

Great quiet place with a swimming pool on site. Close by to the local town and attractions around.

The only downside was the place had no WiFi but there was WiFi in the main reception building.

The location was good, the house was clean and the check-in and out process was as stated and simple. The House is nice, as per pictures and there is parking.

The ad seems to have been updated since I stayed but when I booked this accommodation the ad at the time stated internet was available at the property (it isnt) and also that there is a pool for use. Unfortunately the ad didn't mention that the pool wasn't open at weekends. Therefore, if you are booking with a family just check with property beforehand about pool availability.

We had a lovely time staying at Eamont Park and would definitely consider returning in the future.

Great location, was fab to be able to use the on-site pool and all very clean.

A bit small, a number of superficially broken items (just needed some tlc really) and no dishwasher.
