Beautiful. Would 100% come again

Beautiful property, lovely scenery, and cute little cat named Lola who was always around to greet us. Linda, the host, was also lovely and came to say hi to us on our arrival. Very accommodating and helped us when we didn’t have a torch among other things.

Perfect cottage stay!

The cottage was cozy and had absolutely everything we needed. Nicest washing space ever. Very well equipped, clean, easy to find and park. Nice and helpful owner that was easy to contact. Nice garden with lots of bird song. Quiet and peaceful. We had a terrific time and are already longing to return. We only wish we had stayed longer than our five nights. This was the best place on our 1-month trip.

Best Kept Secret

Loved the warmth of the host, the attention to detail and the careful selction of decor to make a light, bright and comfortable environment. The outdoors was perfect, with a large flat lawn for children to run around, jump on the trampoline and feed the guinea pigs nextdoor. Down a long drive and with surrounding trees it felt like a private oasis where we could truly relax.

Location, comfort and personal touches make it a great place to stay.

Perfect size for the 4 of us. Linda came and greeted us the morning after we arrived. Linda also provided us with some milk, tea/coffee and sugar, juice and a lovely packet of biscuits to welcome us. There were also some fresh oranges from her garden. It’s the little touches that make it a great place to stay. Beds were very comfortable. The shower was great. Highly recommend staying here.

The cottage was very clean and comfortable. The location to everything is good. The peace and quiet is a bonus considering the cottage is so close to town. The owners made sure that everything in the cottage was fine after we arrived.

The homely feeling we had as soon as we arrived. It was our first trip away (my son is 6 months) so was a little anxious. The cottage had everything we needed and the hosts were lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back

Everything about Kendall Cottage was superb! The bed was so comfortable with great pillows. The kitchen was well equipped. The location was peaceful with a wonderful outlook. The hosts were very available if needed. Kendall Cottage is a great place to unwind. We would thoroughly recommend staying here. We will be back.

Perfect place to stay when exploring the Bay of Islands area.

Both the host & property were fabulous :) the cottage was immaculately clean, beautifully presented & well equipped. The 10/10 online ratings were spot on! Would definitely recommend to others looking for a quiet and relaxing base from which to explore the Bay of Islands. Especially great for families traveling with children, lots of outdoor space & activities for the kids to enjoy.

Our family loved how there were facilities for children to play with outside, creating a place for our daughter to play and not using technology. Also, we loved how homely it felt giving us a sense of home away from home.

We couldn't have asked for a better place. Our family loved it.

This was by far the best cottage our family has stayed at. It was very clean; the layout was perfect; it was recently renovated; the kitchen was well stocked; the location was perfect for touring around Northland; the landscaping in the yard was beautiful; the owners are eager to help in any way including provide sightseeing suggestions. It definitely exceed our expectations and we had an amazing 4 day stay. We wish we had booked it for longer.
