Perfect for a simple family holiday

Great little cabin complete with microwave, kettle, small fridge and toaster plus our own set of crockery, cutlery. Communication from staff was great as we were there during the big storm and there was emails with information about what to do and how to make contact.

Didn't not like anything but this is a very simple campground but this is reflected in the fair price.

Fantastic park with great bunk houses

Fantastic Park. We had 2 bunkhouses next door to each other and they were fab; comfy beds, excellent cooking facilities, plates, crockery etc. Central kitchen/washing up room always spotlessly clean, BBQs were great to be able to use.

Would be good if each bunkhouse could have a 5L bottle or such like that you could fill with water to refill kettle etc. so you didn't have to keep walking over to taps every time you want water supply.

We didn't use kitchen facilities. Otherwise toilets close to cabin. Funny time to clean showers & toilets at 10am. I think some campers not happy

Great friendly staff, welcoming staff but extra planning needed incase rain is encountered.

Views were amazing! Cabins were located close by the amenities which were great for going to cook dinner in the kitchen and ensure you could be near the kids.

How the gravel was so uneven so with a little rain there were huge puddles around, not easy to avoid to get back to the cabin when you needed to go out to the amenity block. Shoes got flooded and being in a remote place not easy to buy another pair, we didn't think the rain was going to be that bad when we left home days before arriving. Beds were extra firm, which is good if that's what you like...we didn't.

Location: Close to the moana (beach), kids could swim, play and run around with plenty of grass area available. Facilities: Washing machines and Dryers onsite because we had 3x young boys who loved exploring. Kitchen: very clean & tidy Bathroom: very clean & tidy Staff: very friendly, helpful staff - Thank you Marianne.

Suggestions; Wet floors in bathroom area. Although, I do appreciate they were still very clean. However, it would be nice to have floors dried. Some campers not cleaning up themselves after using toilets. I had a pregnant Mum in my group who refused to use the toilets due to either being blocked, or stains still left in toilet. I just cleaned them myself due to the hour - night, early morning. Maybe have signs - Please clean toilet after use! in various languages. Not having toilets in cabins LOL

IMPECCABLE STAFF BEST CAMPING GROUNDS IN THE BAY OF ISLAND

The staff were amazing the gir l Isabella Paige was oaove and beyond helpful and welcoming and so was the office lady Maryanne it was 5star the staff couldn't have asked for a better stay and the spectacular view excellent our new go too we had 3 kids with us all of us loved it

Wonderful property offering comfortable stay

The facilities provide at the property is more than adequate. The sweet lady reception, if I remember her name right, Eni Ghetti, is more than wonderful. Her welcoming gesture made us feel at home. Love to get there again.

No wash basin in the room. Could atleast have a microwave to hear food. Also got overcharged and looking for reimbursement. Our stay should be $211.41 but got charged $221.41 plus and additional $10.00 on credit card. Need $20 reimbursed.

The bed mattress was so old and uncomfortable that I had a back pain in the morning after I had a night there. Hot water pressure was very low so that it was almost impossible to have a proper shower. The light kept going off while I had a shower which was so annoying.

location next to the river - excellent if you have a pitch or cabin with a view.

the kitchen and bathroom facilities the kitchen had cookers in one half and water and sinks in the other. the bathrooms had automatic lights which went off halfway through shower, after a few minutes. the shower floor was in need of repair there were no sleeves or racks in showers an alternative kitchen block at the other end of the site was better.

we were put in a room which had urinated mattresses. matresses were outside no notification of this until we had put our gears in make our own beds. then few hours later we were informed that the lady had put us in the wrong unit
