Waitangi Holiday Park is in a beautiful location. The water was so calm and peaceful and we could look straight over towards the Treaty Grounds which we came to visit. A very special place. Despite the rain we were cosy in our cabin.

Upon our late arrival we entered into a nice warm cabin that felt very homely. Toilets were not too far. Room was a beautiful set up.
Not so much the property but wished I stayed longer!

The room was very big and comfortable. It was a good value for the money. Also, the women who work at the desk were very nice.
The bathroom was infested with bugs (which I feel could have been remedied by occasional spraying, or by keeping the door closed more). Also, the man who works as the "after-hours check-in person" made me very uncomfortable. He told me he'd only check me in if I gave him a "nice big smile" and said I had the "most beautiful name a women could have". Not exactly the kind of thing I want to hear when I'm in the middle of nowhere, alone with a man who has the key to my room.
