Clean and Spacious

Spotlessly clean and exceptionally roomy, we enjoyed this accommodation immensely. You'll need a car to travel to the delightful rural location which is very handy to Kerikeri airport and a short drive into town. We appreciated the flexibility extended by the host, nothing was any bother :-)

Lovely rural setting and a quiet location. Well located for access to the Bay of Islands and all the attractions of the Northland. The 3 bedroom house was extremely well set up with very comfortable beds and everything we needed.

For a full house of 6 guests, a separate or 2nd toilet would be of benefit.

Clean and tidy, well presented. Plenty of blankets, towels for all of us. Fresh milk in the fridge. Parking right outside the door. Not far to travel to Kerikeri for dinner.

The bedroom with the two single beds was really lovely but needed more lighting, other than that. Everything was great.

We flew in for a tangi up north; love that the house was literally five mins drive to airport; we had an early morning getaway. Was peaceful, roomy, the beds were INCREDIBLY comfy, and we felt relaxed.

We had a wonderful stay, fabulous location. The property was lovely, welcoming and homely with everything we could possibly need. Great outdoor area and BBQ area to enjoy. Great experience with the host Leanne, accommodating and helpful. Wouldn't hesitate to book in again when travelling and staying up that way.

Very spacious and comfortable property, in a lovely setting. Very much appreciated having the electric blankets available, along with the washing machine and the clothes airer. Bed linen was crisp and luxurious. Excellent choices available in crockery and cutlery, and it was great to have real milk supplied instead of long life!

A couple of little coffee tables to use next to the chairs would have been good - the big coffee table was out of reach and we didn't want to try moving it!

Quiet, cosy, rural escape

The location is quiet and rural, with no vehicle noise at night. It is just a short drive out of Kerikeri and very close to the airport. The cottage felt private, even though the owners live closeby they were not visible to us. There is a nice little courtyard out the back to sip wine or have a BBQ. The cottage is very homely and was well stocked with plates, cups, dishes, glasses more so than your usual accomodation. The gas fire was a treat as were the electric blankets. The owners take good care of the accomodation - it is clean and well appointed. All in all , it was a lovely experience.

My only suggestion would be to increase the comfort level of the beds, they were a bit hard for my liking.
