Vila Alpini Lepushe

A beautiful drive in to a scenic location surrounded by the mountains. We stayed in a stand alone private villa. Great home cooked breakfast and dinner. Lovely hosts. Would highly recommend.

If you want to experience the real Albanian countryside in the best way possible - come here! This is a family-run guesthouse in the truest sense of the word. It’s not the Ritz, but you will be so well taken care of that by the third day you won’t want to leave. The food is homemade, fresh, and made with local ingredients. The view from the guesthouse or from your own private small villa is incredible and it's so *so* quiet! Lepushë is perfectly located for day hikes. Maja e vajushes is the well known one, but there are many more. You can step right out of the villa and start walking. Unlike in busy, touristic Theth, here you can hike almost completely on your own all day. I’d definitely recommend staying at least two nights to properly appreciate this area (we stayed 3 and it was perfect for us). There is so much to say, but to sum it up: this place made our trip to Albania! You will be staying with the most generous, hardworking, and genuine family, surrounded by the most beautiful views Albania has to offer.

Absolutely everything! The scenery is out of this world- beautiful mountains and nature everywhere. The hosts are incredibly sweet and welcoming, and genuinely take care of every traveller. It felt warm, personal, and very special.
