CAIROLI BOUTIQUE APARTMENT

The property is very cozy and comfortable

Location ideal

In the extreme heat the aircon in one room wasn't working & the water from the aircon in the other room was running onto the floor

The apartment is a short walk from Rome Termini station, we'd arrived by train from Venice so it was perfect. The station itself is nice but some areas near it can feel a bit intimidating at first but do not let this deter you. There is a metro station nearby which is on the right line to take you to the main attractions in the centre of Rome, it is a cheap and regular service. There is also a tram station nearby although there were engineering works taking place when we were there so couldn't use it. We did use taxis and Ubers quite a bit, they were quite cheap given nothing is really very far away. The apartment is as easy 20 minute walk to the Colosseum area so although it might seem out of the centre it really is close enough. Some reviews suggested it wasn;t too clean, we didn;t have that issue at all. A couple of rooms had aircon and there was a fan, working but had seen better days. And yes, the toilet seats still wobble. Overall i thought it was great value for our family of five
