Titty met us at the apartment to show us around. Explain what to do for check out. Titty helped us get a cab to St Pete's Basilica, we walked back to the apartment from there. Visited the Spanish steps, Trevi Fountain, Colosseum on our way back. Walked the half block up to visit Pope Leo XIV Basilica-very pretty. There are restaurants near by and found a couple of grocery stores, also.
Walking with bad hips around Rome is not easy. We brought a foldable wheelchair for me. I would have liked to do some underground tours but my health would not allow it.

our host was very nice and helpful and the location was great close to the Colosseum & restaurants We felt safe and that’s a big bonus we loved the classic European apartment
The bed was big enough however it was way to soft and worn and needs to be replaced and we were only given 2 towels for 3 days and that’s ok to reuse however there weren’t any hooks to hang the wet towels and we were surprised to have another couple in the other bedroom while we were there. we were expecting the entire apartment to ourselves. they were nice and we had limited interaction but we we’re still thrown off by the sharing situation

Kitchen was not so clean, toiletries only had 2 pack of shampoo. There was no soap to even wash hands. No blankets in bedroom only sheet. When asked we were told to just increase the AC temperature.
