We had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel – everything exceeded our expectations. From the warm welcome to the attention to detail throughout, the experience was both relaxing and memorable. The room was out of this world with direct access to the crystal clear water, spotless and comfortable, the atmosphere was calm and inviting, and the service was outstanding. One of a kind stay in beautiful Himarë

We had an absolutely wonderful 4-night stay at Artis Blue Relax in Himarë, Albania. This place is truly unique — a one-of-a-kind experience that combines stunning views, thoughtful design, and a peaceful atmosphere. Artemis was incredible, welcoming us with such kindness and making us feel completely at home from the moment we arrived. Every detail felt special, from the warm hospitality to the serene setting. It’s the kind of place that leaves you feeling both inspired and completely relaxed. We can’t wait to return!

Beautiful room on the water but don’t jump in!

Beautiful location on the water with a decent sized room and bathroom. Plus space to park a car

Sea urchins in the water. Out of the hotels control I appreciate but ruins the location aspect. Additionally for the price point breakfast should be included

The proximity to stay on the water’s edge, with peace out of the buzz, but 2 minutes walk to the closest restaurant and shops, and for my husband not liking shops, watching all the boats and yachts come in and out of the harbour.

The fact that you couldn’t flush the toilet paper, but understandably because of the location on the water.

You cannot get closer to the water than this!

This hotel is literally ON the water. It is so close that you can sit on your private patio and dip your feet in the water! Unfortunately, the water is full of sea urchins, so you can’t really go IN the water, but the view and ambience is fantastic! It is also the only hotel I stayed at in Albania that had a bathtub, and the view from the bathtub is incredible! This hotel is about as luxurious as it gets for Albania.

Waterfront paradise – beyond words

No advertisement could have prepared us for the wow-factor when we stepped inside. Our room opens onto a private terrace where you can literally dive straight into the crystal-clear bay of Himarë. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame a breathtaking panorama, and from both the terrace and the bed we watched fish swimming in turquoise water while a gentle surf provided the perfect soundtrack. It’s the most romantic place we could imagine—an absolute dream stay!

Just one cheerful heads-up: the bay is also a five-star resort for sea urchins. Those spiky little fellows love to hand out unsolicited pedicures, so pack water shoes and tiptoe with care—let them admire you from a safe distance while you soak up the magic.

Incredible stay

This is one of the most remarkable experiences I have ever had. The room is exceptionally well appointed with a mini kitchen area, large living room, lovely bathroom and spacious bedroom. But the most incredible element were the glass doors that open directly out to your own private patio with steps down to the sea. We loved having coffee or a cocktail in the lounge chairs watching the life on the bay. The owner, Artemis, was incredibly warm and welcoming and helped us figure out an issue with our lost baggage. We can't wait for our next visit!

A true gem in Himare

Absolutely everything but the highlight is truly the ‘dock’ balcony where you can sit on the sea and can enjoy Himare. We also loved all the attention to detail; everything has been considered with the ice machine, the blanket for sitting outside, the lights to enjoy the outdoors at night, coffee, extra towels and more. What an incredible stay, we want to come back already! It was the highlight of our trip!

This place is just as gorgeous in real life as the photos. Absolutely stunning. Walking distance to everything in Himarë. Great breakfast. But the real gem is Arti, who is the most delightful, helpful host and makes you feel so welcomed at every moment! Would absolutely go back.

We had the best stay here! Our host, the room, the view, everything was so incredible. We had an amazing time sitting on the balcony watching the sea life at night and the bath tub is to die for. We also had the opportunity to have many conversations with our host and she gave great recommendations on restaurants and bakeries. She even helped us out with advice while we were travelling in a different part of Albania. We would stay here again for sure.

The water pressure was not super high so it took a long time to fill the bathtub.

Artemis was a kind host who went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. She had the best recommendations for things to do and places to eat. This was, in my view, the best property in the town of Himara. Having travelled in Europe extensively, haven’t ever experienced a property where you are literally on water.

Artis Blue is definitely one of the best places I have had the privilege of staying at. Artemis was the sweetest and most attentive host you could ask for; she went out of her way to make us feel comfortable. The place is very conveniently located and the views as well as the beach right at your balcony just makes the stay extremely beautiful. Would definitely like to come back and stay here again!

Local staying with global comfort

Staying at Artis Blus is like staying at home, but with all additional comfort. Artemis takes care of us like family, but she also takes care of every detail, offering high quality products, brand new towels and bed sheets and everything as first class. It is conveniently located with easy access to the boats' tours and restaurants, but it is still calm and silent. Be sure to book with Artis Blue and not with the other hotel located upstairs. And be sure to ask for a boat tour with Markus. He is a local fisherman and being with him and Artis Blue is also a way to learn and give more value to local people, despite still sleeping as kings.

It's the most amazing stay I've ever had! The owner is so nice and it was very easy to communicate with her. The place itself is a hidden gem. We loved it the moment we got in and we extended our stay for one more night. You get the feeling of being at home far from home! I highly recommend this place!

An amazing and highly-recommended place to stay in Himare along the Albanian Riviera

This beautiful small hotel is well situated next to the beach - You can actually touch the water from your room's window (and I mean it!). Your room and bathroom are very well equipped for a great holiday in one of the most exiting places to visit in Albania. You can enjoy (for an extra payment) a great and diversified breakfast, offering a lot of options, and served on the sunny and beautiful balcony that looks directly into the sea and the small harbor. Most important, your host, Artis, offers a great and generous hospitality and guiding. This is a highly recommended place.

This is an incredible room. The space is exactly as pictured, immaculately clean and absolutely gorgeous. You can step off the windowsill into the sea! The staff is very kind and accommodating. We went in the off season in March, so the surrounding areas are pretty much deserted, which was perfect for our romantic getaway. The bathtub is a huge bonus, and there's plenty of hot water to fill up the tub and then some, which can sometimes be an issue with other hotels. I will absolutely stay here again!

Never experienced a hotel that is litteraly on the water. Waking up and falling asleep with the sounds of the sea is magical. The room is very clean and has everything it needs. They seem like a very sweet hard working family. Fresh fish you can get in the Restaurant directly from the sea by the hotel, and the breakfast is amazing. I think it’s the best restaurant in Himarë. I will deffinitly visit again!!! Thank you so much

Fantastic from start to finish

The place is absolutely stunning. Artis was extremely helpful and made sure we were fully catered for. For my partner’s birthday she surprised us with a bottle of Prosecco! The room was spacious, light, clean and airy. An unbelievably fun and luxury experience! Thank you Artis.
