Generously sized apartment and perfect for exploring the north of Skye

Very good sized apartment with (nearly) everything we needed

Curtains could be a bit more lightproof. Very minor: Apartment had a dishwasher but no dishwasher tabs (not something we normally carry around..) it and would have been nice to have had some shower gel and soap for the bathroom. Parking area at the front a bit small for three cars (our car was damaged by some other guests..)

Lovely and quiet place to stay whilst exploring Skye

The flat exceeded our expectations! It was clean, cosy and easy to find! We had received a gentle warning about the more rural location and that internet connections might be patchy but this did not bother us at all. The kitchen had all the equipment we needed to cook our meals. The price point was far better than anywhere else we saw on Skye! Although there's clearly rooms and other accommodation on rent too, we barely saw anyone else. Just like us everyone else seemed to leave in the morning for a day of exploring and come back in the evening.

The temperature is on the cooler side, in case you're used to very warm indoors it's worth bringing warm pyjamas. Would've preferred for the double bed to have two separate duvets rather than one large one.

Just great, helped by perfect weather!

Good for Quiraing and northern tip, OK for Old Man of Storr and close to Uig, for ferry to Harris & Lewis. Minor roads in shocking state. Really comfortable and peaceful. Great sunsets.

To nitpick I found the duvet a bit too thick and hot.

Active holiday with a view in the evening

The location was great - close to beautiul local walks- including some of the well known places. The house was very comfortable. Also the tips from the host heped us to find good places to visit. The weather and the views were very good which certainly helped! The whiteboard with my name on it was great to find the right appartment door- and very welcoming. We loved our stay on Skye.

A couple of nice outside chairs to sit on would be a great addition to the picknick table that was already there. For the rest everything was there to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable,

Loved this property! Excellent space for a family staying on Skye!

Very clean, plenty of space, everything needed for a few remote days! Host checked in and even helped with some equipment for a minor rental car issue.

Very minor.. buy no cooking oil was supplied. Not an expectation on our part, but always an easy way to make cooking easier for travelers.

Overall it was a lovely location to stay at and a nicely appointed apartment.

Breakfast was not included with this B and B. The views from this location are stunning.

There was no coffee, tea or whitener at this location. Considering it’s remoteness and the length of time it takes to drive to a store, it would have been helpful in their literature to advise potential guests that they require to bring anything they wish to consume.

Owners were friendly, helpful, and courteous! The room was pleasant, with great views, and comfortable. Extremely easy to find location.

Drive in to the apartment was beautiful, but slightly jarring due to the unfamiliarity of one lane roads and blind corners.

Tranquilo y cómodo

La bienvenida fue cálida, con las llaves esperándonos y comunicación cercana por WhatsApp. Incluso nos enseñaron como usar la lavadora en persona, siempre muy atentos. Nos dieron una guía con anticipación para conocer cosas de la isla de Skye y nos sirvió mucho, el entorno era tranquilo y bonito. La cocina estaba súper limpia y pudimos usarla sin problema, incluso el ultimo día usamos el lavavajillas que me pareció un detalle genial. Cuando lo solicitamos, pudimos usar la calefacción sin problema. En general, nos sentimos cómodos. Considerar que el lugar está apartado y lejos de servicios como supermercado, esto no nos molestó ya que nos avisaron todo con anticipación y fuimos preparados.

El baño necesitaba un poquito de mantenimiento porque se veía algo desgastado.

Prettig en fijn verblijf op prachtig eiland

Mooie locatie met mooi uitzicht en zonsondergang. Leuk welkom bij de deur. De weg ernaar toe was er eentje met gaten in de weg, maar dat was op meer plekken op het eiland zo. Ruim appartement met ruime keuken en slaapkamer boven wat prettig was. Parkeerplaats voor de deur.

De weg er naartoe vol gaten, maar dit was op meer plekken op het eiland en kan de eigenaar natuurlijk niets aan doen.
