I loved the boathouse...it was a beautifully rural location...it is next to a working boat yard...but it wasnt noisy..water has such a calming effect..the stay relaxed us so much...its a perfect stay if you want to switch off from the world for a little bit...i would definitely go back again..

We absolutely loved the window overlooking the loch! It was so peaceful waking up to the view over the water in the morning. Though it initially seemed a bit secluded, it ended up being the perfect spot to explore Skye from!

We loved the large window on the loch!! The sheep were great and adorable! We didn't like the difficulty finding the place!! We also did not like the bathtub/shower! The tub is narrow and very slippery making it difficult to get in and out of. As Americans, we were clueless as to how the shower worked. Some basic directions on the shower would help. Also, a much better map and set of instructions as to how to find the location would go a long way!! Also, no mention was made of the working boatyard right next door to the boathouse. The fence did help.
