Nestling on the shores of Loch Portree, this holiday property offers wonderful views across the bay to the Cuillin mountains.. With wonderful views across the bay to the Cuillin mountains, this traditional crofter’s cottage nestles on the shores of Loch Portree and offers spacious accommodation. Built around 1850, it has been lovingly restored, with the living room and kitchen situated on the first floor to take advantage of the fine views. Set just feet away from the lapping shores of the loch, the views can also be savoured from the seating area of the attractive terraced garden, which is reached by a steep path. Altogether a peaceful, yet central location – being just 5-minutes’ walk from the town centre. Shops ½ mile.. Ground Floor:

Superb cottage in a brilliant location. First off cottage was spotless on arrival. It is located down a cul de sac and is literally 5 yards from the sea. The pictures do not do it justice. It is a lovely airy cottage with views to die for. A lovely log fire at night that I will miss. It is a 2 minute walk into town , 5 minute walk to a gorgeous walk round the bay and a 2 min drive to a lovely forest walk. Really welll stocked and a really nice touch of a bottle of wine waiting on arrival. I would highly recommend this cottage. It is a great base to explore the island. We brought our fig and he loved it as well.We are already looking at dates for next day. On a side note make sure you have a meal at The view restaurant. 10 minute walk and a wonderful meal.

Comfortable cottage in great location right next to the water with lovely views. Well equipped, cosy cottage that was clean and well presented. Some kitchen scissors as an addition would have been useful. The garden is also quite overgrown and the information pack quite dated.

Fleet cottage is tucked away yet in the heart of Portree. We woke to stunning views across the bay and dinner to water seemingly lapping against the house as high tide gave an optical illusion from the upstairs sitting room. Stunning views of the Cuillin Ridge

This property has an excellent location, within 5 minutes from restaurants, coffee shops, and local coop, yet completely off the busy streets, directly on the water/marsh, on a dirt road with no car traffic going past this property. Bedrooms downstairs and livingroom/ kitchen upstairs. The livingroom has wonderful views.
