I loved the location, the price, the host, the building.

The only thing holding this property back is the small amount of hot water available making the showers slightly uncomfortable as the water pressure isn't quite high enough and the temperature is slightly too cold

Cute and cosy pod, well-stocked kitchen with everything we needed, comfy bed. Enjoyed the underfloor heating and built-in speaker system

Wifi signal wasn’t great, but it is the middle of nowhere, so to be expected. A little difficult to locate as we arrived after dark

Bird had nested above the pod door which was lovely. However, bird droppings down the glass door and handle plus veranda made getting in and out a little tricky without touching or stepping in it.

Lovely quiet location. Very well-designed and cosy pod.

It was nice to have some cooking facilities. Everything was spotlessly clean and comfortable.

Quite far from major attractions in the area on a single track road.

Great little pod; good WiFi and Smart TV, perfectly functional kitchen and shower, and comfortable bedding and lounge/living area.

The hosts were not facilitating or welcoming. In fact, they were non-existent. Having contacted them a week prior to arrival and then 2 days prior to arrival (via booking.com) requesting assistance on which specific turning I should be taking to locate the property - on both occasions they simply ignored my query and resent me the generic welcoming email. One comment even mentioned the hosts being so lovely as to provide eggs and bread for their stay - for us, we couldn’t even get them to speak to us and answer our query. Bless my lucky stars I found the place. Had I not, the hosts would have been of no help.

This is my second stay here. Its in a brilliant quiet location in the north of the Island and your only neighbours is farm animals. Cabin is extremely well equipped and heated meaning you could stay here any time of year. its off the beaten track which is exactly what I wanted but that does mean you need to plan any food and drink you want to have in advance as the nearest shop is not walking distance. Hosts are so kind with fresh eggs given and even offered to allow us to extend our stay as the weather and a major accident made leaving the island problematic.

Shower water pressure is very very low. There is literally nothing more to dislike.

amazing!! comfy bed, cosy and warm inside, had everything we needed. it was in the perfect location, so isolated and calm, surrounded by friendly animals and stunning views! the owners were so accommodating and friendly, really made us feel at home. bathroom facilities were fantastic, hot and powerful showers! the wifi worked with no issues or delays, and the property was so easy to find.

it would be nice to have some outdoor seating/bbq area for summer weathers. other than that it was perfect!

The heating was set a little high and would reset back when we tried to turn it down - not a big issue by any means and easily fixed if we had asked

I loved everything about our stay!

Wonderful location, very cosy and nice accommodation. I appreciated the adjustable thermostat and all the basic kitchen equipment. Some reviews mention the bathroom being cold - yes it is, but just turn on the heating ladder or leave the door to the rest of the cottage open. The surroundings were amazing, peace and quiet, animals and nature. I loved it! We didn't mind at all that the shop was far away, you are in the countryside so enjoy it. Everything was clean. Wi-Fi absolutely fine, water pressure in the shower also sufficient. The host was nice and interested - I rarely experience this.

The only thing that didn't suit me was the bed was too soft, but I understand that it's individual. It didn't change anything about my holiday experience!:)

Location as it was remote. Ability for us to eat in. Wifi was good.

Free range dogs in the area which snarled at us did not make us feel like we could walk down to the bay from the property. Large to do list to leave property, like taking out trash, stripping the bed etc. felt more like a air bnb

The location was spectacular. Very close to the Quraing, old castle, and beaches. How they fit everything we needed into that tiny space, we'll never know.

Very few food options in this remote area. You'll be happy to have your own provisions.

Nice pod with everything you need .

Was just a bit too remote for us. This is probably a plus for some, but it does mean you have to plan your activities ahead before returning back .

The location is to die for. Where else do you have neighbours such as eagles, lambs, cuckoo's, horses, Atlantic terns to name but a few. The pod was amazing, compact yet had everything we needed. The owner was fantastic, she made us feel really welcome and went above and beyond. I have come not to expect that from self catering places but this was different. Will happily return should we be on Skye again

The dog sulking when I got back home because I hadn't taken him. I tried to explain that the location wasn't suitable for him and that mummy sheep wouldn't haven't enjoyed his company and I reminded him that the last time he met a horse he ran and hid... but he still wasn't haven't any of it! Appeased him with a toy dinosaur! (Go see the footprints at an corran beach)

Location central to the must see tourist sights but also there are a lot of wonderful scenery surprises not mentioned in the guides.

we stayed for 2 nights, lovely little pod in a very peaceful area of isle of Skye surrounded by farm animals. the pod was very cozy and clean with all the amenities you could ask for.

Very comfortable pod with plenty of privacy. great bed, Underfloor heating, bluetooth throughout a comfy couch, (smart)TV and chairs outside to watch the stars. I had arrived later than expected and Catriona drove out and made sure i found the pod (where she had turned on the heating for me 😊) I stayed here late december but the pod was cozy and warm. The location is fantastic. On the trotternish loop but at night it is so dark i saw the milky way

i was missing a coffeetable, but honestly i have no idea where you would put it

It’s our second time staying in here. Everything is as good as I remember!!

our favorite pod in skye. the attention to detail was impeccable. even bluetooth speakers that sorrounded the whole pod. catriona was super caring.

The pod was warm, comfortable and had everything you could need for a week long self catered visit! Catriona and Peter were so welcoming, friendly and helpful. The pod is located about 10 minutes from the Flodigarry car park (which is by far the best way to ascend The Quirrang). It's quiet, peaceful and you can see the sea from the sofa. What more could you want!!!!

Honestly, it was perfect. Other folks mentioned about the bathroom being cold. I can see that, but I found using the towel radiator was sufficient to warm it up and just leaving the door open to the rest of the pod also helped. Genuinely, I loved it all and have no complaints whatsoever.

It was lovely, what a beautiful calm place. The pod itself was very modern. A lot of comfort!!! A whole sofa that could been turned into a bed, a tv with netflix, soft pillows in the sofa and 2 fleece blankets to snuggle under (very important). The bathroom was super modern and there were some really high quality products to use to shower and wash your hair. Even a super good smelling body cream. The bed had a very good mattress and 4 pillow (also very important to me) There was place to hang clothes and enough place under the bed to store our luggage. Outside there was also a seating area with hangers for wet clothes and with the most magical view. You could see the sea from in the pod.

The kitchen itself was super clean like the rest of the pod BUT the pots , pans ect were absolutely disgusting.... what a shame!! I burned my hands and lost a ton of valuable time disinfecting and washing the pots and pans that I wanted to use. I couldn't toast bread because the toaster was disgusting. ALL the tea cups were dirty on arrivel, the microwave stinked. That was super super super of putting for me. I threw away a ton of food, because I didn't want to eat there. One pan had even a thick layer of fungus under the handels, it made me want to throw up. I loved the property and I will come back (but this time with cup a noodle cups so I don't have to cook). If I can give an advice to the owners: less is more, you should have less things in the kitchen so it's easier to keep it clean. There were so many plates and cups and forks and knives... it's to much to maintain and because it's not matching and it all looks very old and beaten up, it's not really inviting to drink or eat out. A small set with max. 4 pieces of everything and just 2 new pots and pans would make a world of difference. Keep it minimalistic, neat, clean and matching. And although it's the responsibility of the guest to wash up after the use of kitchen gear, you should always double check if they indeed did for the next guest. I also asked if the water was drinkable via the booking app chat and I never got a response. (could be also because of bad connection, so I will not hold it against the owner)

The pod is very warm and cozy. The location looks like heaven and you only have rabbits, horses, sheep and cows as neighbors 😂

Gloriously remote location!

We had a fantastic stay here. We loved the Pod - it was comfortable & very well organised inside with everything we needed to self cater for our few days. We loved that it was away from the main centers & in the farmland.

The location is breathtaking, it is so calm and relaxing. I loved watching the wild rabbits and enjoying the peace.

There wasn't anything we didn't like. The stay was perfect.
