Summary:
Giaella sits inside the historic railway station building of Monterosso al Mare — a location more unique than rare. The bedrooms and kitchen offer a spectacular view over the sea and the golden beaches. A welcome snack awaits in the kitchen for your first morning: croissants, biscuits, jam, tea and coffee, handy if the journey has left you hungry. 80 sqm, second floor with LIFT, sleeps up to 6.
The Space:
Two double bedrooms with sea views, a study/living room also ideal for remote working, with a sofa bed and Smart TV. Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine. Air conditioning in all rooms. The apartment was completely renovated in spring 2022.
Guest Access:
Second floor served by a LIFT — rare in Monterosso. Fegina car park less than 5 minutes' walk away.
The Neighborhood:
Inside Monterosso station's historic building, beaches a short walk away. Note: being close to the station and beaches, in high season there can be some noise, softened by the relaxing sound of the waves — reviews confirm guests don't find it a problem.
Getting Around:
Fegina car park less than 5 minutes' walk away, ideal for drivers. The train station is in the same building.
Other Things to Note:
Assisted check-in 3:00pm–7:00pm, late check-in 7:00pm–10:00pm with a €50 supplement, no check-in possible after 10:00pm — past this hour car parks close, night trains are rare and often delayed or cancelled, and the villages fall quiet with no one around who could really help anyway: far better to plan a calm arrival the next day.
Small and medium-sized dogs welcome for a supplement. Heating switched off from 1 April to 8 November.
We leave a few breakfast basics in the kitchen for your first morning (croissants, biscuits, jam, tea, coffee, portioned powdered milk, sugar); where a kitchen is available, also our award-winning extra virgin olive oil from a local producer whose mill and honey production can be visited on one of our experiences, plus salt and washing-up liquid, and washing machine/dishwasher pods where fitted. Bed and bath linen included, with shower gel, conditioner, body wash and hand soap. Professional cleaning throughout. Environmental note: in spring, small Velella velella may appear along the coast, a sign of clean seas, with a mild, natural and temporary organic smell.
Our concierge office in Vernazza is open 9:30am-7:00pm from 1 March to 31 October; outside this period the office is closed, with presence available on request. We're always happy to welcome guests staying in any of the other villages too, whether for a quick hello or for advice on local experiences and activities.

My parents just had 2 night stay. They liked it a lot because of the easy check in and the convenient location with ocean view, 2 minute walk to the main beach and attractions. Even there was not water for one night and the Internet was broken but overall it was a nice stay!

We loved our stay at this apartment. We were a little nervous about the location over the train station (noise) and prior reviews that the back third bedroom was hot as there was no AC in that room. Both were not issues for us. We loved the central location and the views of the water from the apartment. The train station noise did not bother us in the slightest. Everything about the stay was terrific. The one thing to note is that there really isn't a large sitting room where everyone can gather comfortably if you are using the third room as a bedroom. Our family of 5 (three adult children and two parents) spent most of our time outside so this was not an issue. if you plan to spend a lot of time in the apartment and you have a group the size of ours, just be prepared to have to convert the back bedroom to a sitting room each day (the bed is a pull out couch).
