MainStay Suites Moreno Valley Near March Air Reserve Base

The room was clean and spacious. The staff was very nice and accommodating. The only thing that bothered me is that it was a non smoking property and i couls smell weed smoke and people were smoking in the parking lot, where as my daugher and i would always go down to the street, even to vape.

The room itself, meaning general cleanliness and for me always the most important aspect, the bed was great. But upon check-in, I was informed that there was not going to be any hot water. I was offered a "free cancelation", to compensate for this. After a full workday and then a seven hour drive and a tired check-in at close to 11pm, this is not satisfactory. I also reached out to the manager and got absolutely no response. A 20$ discount or voucher for a future start at one of the partner hotels or c something like that would have been what I expected, coming from someone who works in a hotel himself. I understand sometimes the hot water doesn't work, but clearly something better than "free cancelation" could have been offered, instead of me having to find another place to stay in an area I don't know at close to midnight on a day as described above. .

There were roaches and there was no hot water for 4 days and 3 nights. Management stated that they would refund 15% off each day of no hot water and never did.

I paid for 3 days..2 days there was No HoT water...management has still not got back with me about a refund or discount..i say Dont stay here JUST FIND ANOTHER ROOM..Also the Police is always messing wit the people who has rooms..i think its a FBI sting always going on...if u lime to ne left alone..dont stay

No hot water in the shower so we werent able to shower since so cold out and water was freezing. they should give us some type of credit

Always a pressure to stay

The room was very and spotless. The staff was professional and courteous, checking in and checking out. A reasonably price hotel for CA.

Room wasn't ready at check in we had to wait 2 hrs

The rooms are clean and the staff was amazing

I mean its Moreno Valley and its a long term stay property....but all in all it was fine for 1 night and what we needed for a budget.

The room felt neglected

It's wonderful to have a full kitchen and a really large TV Jasmine was very understanding in giving us a room as far away from the freeway as possible.

not many towels, saw 1 cockroach, shower floor wasn’t maintained.

Room was clean and amenities where great and glad the outlets all worked.

The room was cleaned. Staff were very nice and professional. Office was clean and smell good. It was loud because we were next to the highway. The bathroom didn’t have ventilation. The gym elliptical machine is not working.

place was very clean and everything was actually really nice and well kept. The only problem was, when i went to take a shower in the morning, there was no hot water! not even warm. Otherwise, I would have given 5 stars

They never gave me my refund

The room was extremely noisy, poor quality windows allow freeway noise all night. Poor quality walls and doors allow random hallway noise all night. The A/C unit was noisy. The price was good, but the hotel isn't.

after seeing the "Wonderful" rating for this location I decided to book only 1 night just to see if it was wonderful as the reviews show but it was one of the WORST experiences in my life, room was spacious and apparently clean, I always sleep as the bed is made because i don't trust hotels do change their sheets everyday and to my surprise I woke up to a weird feeling on my face next to my ear so i slapped myself and sure enough it was a COCKROACH almost going in my ear! WTH??? yes it was a small one but imagine that bug going in my ear? so i decided to check the sheets and sure enough there was hairs in the "clean" sheets, after i left i realized i had a weird red spot on my leg so its possible they have bed bugs as well, I immediately got up and left the room, i couldn't even take a shower thinking the place is infested with cockroaches, I check under sink and yes i saw cockroach droppings, It was almost check out time, I was going to ask for a late check out but after waking up to bugs crawling on my face i was OUT OF THAT DUMP!!! I told the lady at the front desk about it and even brought couple roaches to her on a napkin so she can see for herself and she didn't even care about it, all she said was that she will let management know and not to expect my 200 dollar deposit till about 7 to 10 days, so stay away from this place that looks clean but is not! unless you want to sleep in a cockroach infested room.

Cockroaches in room. Ran out of towels. Allowing loud music and partying from guests until 4am. If you want sleep don’t stay here.

Really well laid out

Loved the place, just the walls and doors are so thin, you can hear everything and the doors slamming from room to room and you can hear the people walking upstairs. Everything was squeaky but all in all not bad of a place for the cost

Had a bad experience with the hotel and especially managements. We found our bedsheets with visible blood stains on them, and the front desk handed us the new bed sheets for US to change the soiled sheets ourselves . I contacted management multiple times through email and never heard back. I’m so fortunate that Expedia was able to help me out and get in contact with them . After all this trouble, the hotel denied me a full refund until Expedia kept going back-and-forth with them and they decided on giving me back 50% off. The bloody stained sheets was horrifying , an unsanitary breach. On top of that as their guest, being made to change the bloody bedsheets was definitely the last thing I should’ve dealt with after receiving a room in these conditions. What a shame, having to deal with the experience, not hearing back from management at all and when finally contacted they denied a full refund .
