I liked the room itself. Good size for a family of 4.

Our room had a very potent odor that I couldn't define. When we 1st entered the room the window was open which now I understand why. The hotel is not actually near MARB, it's on the other side of town.

The room sizes were perfect. It felt like you were in your own little world. I truly loved that the rooms had a kitchen, a small ‘dining’ table, and the TV size was great!

The only complain I have is the internet. There were times where the TV would lag and freeze. No breakfast is served, which is not out of the norm. The only warning I will give is parking is limited. The front desk had informed us that sometimes there is a charge for parking over the weekend and at times, especially during the weekends, parking can get full. If it’s full, then you’re out of luck.

Overall a good stay. We primarily booked for the in room jacuzzi tub, which was amazing.

Staff was very friendly and quickly responded to my needs.

Floors were dirty. Some of the room items were in disrepair/broken. Toilet clogged very easily and we had to use a plunger ourselves to fix the issue. No maintenance staff after 4 or 5pm.

Family Business

MainStay Suites is an automatic for me when going home to visit the family. Always clean, great customer service, super comfy beds and great location, close to everything. The kitchenette is so CLUTCH! I'm usually home for a family event that requires me to cook. I can prep and cook in peace, wrap up my items and take it to the function. I was introduced to this MainStay about 3yrs ago and been booking here ever since.

No one told use that breakfast was offered.

Check the rooms to make sure the air conditioning is working. The staff that checked us apologize and moved us to a different room which we was thankful. Great customer service on his part.

Decent value, wouldn’t stay there again. This place has potential that it doesn’t meet.

The location is great and is close to many businesses. It made it easy to order from restaurants and grocery stores. It is also close to medical facilities and has easy freeway access. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. Disability accessible bathroom was great, tiled from wall to wall, and non-slip. Staff was all helpful and friendly. Air conditioner worked great. Dishes and silverware and cookware were provided with the room, but no drying rack. Stovetop worked great as well as the un-vented microwave.

We had the disability accessible room… on the second floor. To get to our room, we had to go through an access door, up an elevator, through 2 more access doors, and finally to our room. We had a non-smoking king suite, but the hallway and room was flooded with marijuana smell all night, every night we were there. The floor in the room left our feet black- though it had been swept, it probably hadn’t been mopped for a long time (see photo for demonstration; used a wet bit of TP and wiped the floor). Some basic housekeeping tasks had been neglected- there were crumbs and a plastic toothpick-flosser left on the floor near a small trash pale in the room, dust on the fixtures, furniture, and bed-frame. This was not ideal after surgery. The three chairs in the room were filthy- one was a cushioned seat with dirty arms, one of the chairs at the table was dirty, and the other chair at the table had some questionable stains on it. The outlet in the bathroom, though functioning, was not properly mounted in the electrical box. The hairdryer was non-functional. There was a dent in the drywall near the door. Drain-flies were a constant issue and the sink plug had to remain in to keep them at bay.

Great place to lay you head for a few nights. 9/10 would recommend

Loved the size of the spacious room. Can't go wrong with a great big clean kitchen. Good size fridge, nice stove, and a lot of counter space. Was not expecting it to be so big. Living room area was extremely clean and spacious as well. Not only would I stay here again, but I would also definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family. Extremely easy to check in if you have a reservation. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Walking distance to a lot to restaurants, grocery stores and the mall.

There is nothing I didn't like but there are few areas that need to either be fixed or cleaned up a bit. The bathroom sliding glass door would not close all the way when showering. There was a lot of dirt on the wall in the bathroom above the light switch. You can hear the other residents through the ceiling. Very loud when trying to sleep. We were on the back side of the hotel, and you can defiantly heat the fwy traffic. Wasn't too bad though. Also, the TV reception was ok. Very glitchy and froze while watching shows.

The stay was nice but the description of the hotel on the website is different from what the hotel looks like. It says all rooms have inside hallway doors but only some of them are that way. The parking lot is smaller than the pictures on line. But otherwise it is a nice place to stay.
