Good size apartment and well fitted out but pretty dated. Guess that’s what you should expect for these old buildings. Quite a walk to the town of Bellagio itself and the roads you need to walk along are very narrow with lots of traffic, so quite dangerous. Wish we’d booked somewhere closer to the town. Breakfast was included and was pretty good. Overall, the accommodation is ok but too far out from where you want to be and you definitely need a car to get there.

Our hosts made check-in easy. They set out a delicious breakfast every morning for guests to eat on the patio, which had an amazing view. We stayed in five different places on our vacation. This was my favorite.

Beautiful place to stay with my two adult children. Excellent breakfast and comfortable space. Lots of walking required to get to places (up and down hill) so those with mobility issues should be aware.

This was a really nice stay in Bellagio. The staff is so nice and the views are incredible. One piece of advice I would mention is this is a great place to stay if you have a rental car- if you do not, you will be spending a lot of money on taxis and the taxis may not be as readily available as you would think. Giving this place 4 stars because sometimes the water cuts out for a few minutes and can leave you stranded in the shower until it comes back on. Other than that, great stay.

We stayed in 2 bedroom apartment, with kitchen balcony, dining room and living room. The view was great. The breakfast was good. The owner was accomodating. Be sure to know the ferry time and the bus schedule to plan ahead because it does not run frequently.

First the good: The view is breathtaking! The place was spacious. Master bed was comfortable. Champagne and water waiting on arrival. Easy check in and check out. Free breakfast available (we did not eat though). Big, powerful portable fan. Now the bad: DO NOT STAY HERE UNLESS YOU HAVE A VEHICLE (and a skinny enough vehicle to get down the narrow drive). The walk up to this villa is very very steep. Worst shower I’ve ever used. Small. Water pressure goes from ok to nonexistent at random. Water temperature changes from freezing to scalding at random. No air conditioning (the fan is a big help). Wifi only worked in the front part of unit (not in the master). BUGS! Without air conditioning, we figured we would open the windows to get some air flow (weather was perfect outside). However, after just a few minutes we realized a ton of bugs got inside that we had to hunt and kill. Because of this, we kept all windows and doors closed. This caused the unit to be quite stuffy without air conditioning. On our last night, we had some very loud people on the roof until after midnight. We had to leave early for the airport the next morning, so this was very annoying. The hosts did not respond to questions or complaints after 10 pm.

We had a two bedroom apartment with the most amazing views over Lake Como. The property owner was friendly and helpful. Every morning we enjoyed a lovely breakfast on the balcony with views of the lake. You have to walk roughly 4 to 5 minutes down to a carpark where you can catch a small train to Bellagio town centre. I would recommend this property to anyone. We found it wonderful.

Our accommodation had the most breathtaking view. Breakfast was plentiful and staff were gracious, attentive and lovely. San Giovanni ferry terminal is only a few meters away and Bellagio is walkable if you don't mind going uphill and downhill. The area is very peaceful and quiet.

The views were amazing. Some of the best I’ve seen. The breakfast was tasty and Ornela very sweetly drove us into town to catch the ferry when we were leaving. The apartment was spacious. The restaurant just down the street has great food! However, getting to the place was very difficult and confusing. There are not many taxi’s in Bellagio so plan ahead. You can take a bus- hard to get tickets-or the ferry. The ferry is easier but doesn’t always stop closest to the rental. Make sure you have this figured out ahead of time. We dragged our suitcases in the rain for about a 30 min walk.

Our stay at La Piccola Bellagio was superb! We were in contact with Ornella who was beyond amazing. She reached out a few days in advance to ensure our stay was perfect. Moreover, she sent us a video to help us locate the property, she sent us directions to the local store, restaurant and a beach and provided other information. The property itself was beautiful, spacious and clean with gorgeous views of the lake. It was prepared for our stay with such care and love, with absolutely nothing missing! It was complete with a bottle of wine and water in the fridge for us (and a jar of locally produced jam at checkout). Breakfast was above and beyond, super delicious, versatile and plentiful, and it was served on a terrace with gorgeous views of the lake. Property location was also great, close to places to eat in the San Giovanni neighborhood, as well as the beach and a playground, and a short walk to the city center. We also used a train which stops not too far from the property and takes you to the city center. Overall, our stay here was amazing and we highly recommend it. Can’t wait to visit again!

The property had a gorgeous view of the lake. The included breakfast and ability to purchase wine and beer from the little kitchen made it easier for us to eat at the property and have wine at the balcony in the evening. I'm glad we had a car, though, because we drove to get groceries and to Bellagio. If you don't have a car, then you may have to walk a bit to the grocery store or even just to go out to eat. We enjoyed using the kitchen in our unit to make meals at home since we stayed several nights. We also preferred having the option to take food on the go while exploring the area. The washer was a great option, as they provided pods and we were able to let everything dry in the warm sun. Don't forget to pay the taxes, as we forgot and had to send it on PayPal. Overall, highly recommend!

Absolutely beautiful views of the lake from our window. Brilliant location in San Giovanni with access to the boat services only a 5 minute walk from the room. Bellagio is only a 20 minute walk as well. Room was very clean with great amenities. The host was great at contacting us with directions, providing advice on the area and making a lovely breakfast (and giving us some homemade jam on exit!). We would definitely stay here again. Great value for money.
