The bedroom itself was pretty clean. There was a pile of dirt at the foot of the bed that has not been picked up. The bed was comfortable, however, there was a large amount of black mold in the shower, and only in the shower. That did not make us feel great, but it was a quick shower in the morning. The location was perfect for a one-night stay. Within walking distance to many restaurants. When we booked the room, we were told breakfast was included. Then we received an email that breakfast would not be included but they would give us a credit slip at a local shop for breakfast. When we arrived, they said no breakfast and no discount in our rate. We received check-in instructions via email and no person was available at check-in. The manager did knock on our door around 10:30 pm to make sure we were checked in. It was also a short walk to the area where you catch the bus to the cruise ships. In spite of the shower situation, it was perfect, and we would stay there again if leaving from that port.

This review is totally about the service provided! Unfortunately the day before we arrived the toilets backed up and they had to shut the rooms down. But he arranged alternate accomodation, he still picked us up at the airport, and he delivered us to the cruise terminal the following day.

The property is kind of unique as according to the owner its the original Palace building, 120 years old, not touched from outside but renovated for using as B&B on the 3rd floor. I wish that it should be mentioned somewhere that there is no elevator to access very high 3rd floor with the luggage. Other than that, the B&B is comfortable, clean, owners are very hospitable and helpful.

The B&B is located on the 2nd floor of a historic building. If you have issues with stairs this may not be a good choice for you.We enjoyed our overnight stay because the rooms are clean and comfortable, the hosts are friendly, the included breakfast was delicious and plentiful, our room had a lovely sea view, the price is very reasonable and you can walk to the local street market and the cruise port.

From the get go, this was a wonderful B&B to stay at. The owner was so welcoming. He picked us up from the train station; made me wonderful coffee upon arrival; helped bring our luggage upstairs. The next morning was a fantastic breakfast with great options. He made us eggs. It could have been overfilling, but we chose to eat just enough as we were about to go on a cruise. Had a lovely chat with 3 other groups that were going on the cruise that day, and I ran into all of them during the cruise. Like having new friends even if it was for the cruise period. The owner told us hed walk us to the port which wasnt far, but helped us get to the right bus that took us to the ship for free. Also told us to buy the 2 euro pp ticket when we return to get back to the train station. Helpful info as you get bombarded when you get off the 1st bus that took you from the terminal to the exit area. But at the end of that was the bus that he mentioned and a ticket window. All in all, a very pleasant 1 night stay. But if you need a pickup from the Fiumicino airport, I would highly recommend him if its just 2 of you. I was almost pickpocketed at the Rome Ostiense train stations elevator. Caught them and stopped them, but what a hassle to carry luggage up and down stairs in another area that we had to take. The owner will do it for a less than some of the suppliers. If sharing with others, stick with companies because theyll be able to accommodate your larger party.
