Renaissance Bali Uluwatu Resort & Spa

Great hotel with great staff,beautiful pool area with good restaurants and poolside bar and great service. The safe ,clean and modern hotel ,beautiful room .good transport to their beach club and really everything we want from a hotel we could find there. We had a great holiday in this beautiful hotel and we will back again.

Nice hotel on the hill, making it quiet and relaxing away from the Uluwatu chaos. Will definitely be back, staff are outstanding.

I was charge for a garden view, but the whole view was block by a huge tree. I should be renamed to Tree view

Excellent resort, not a lot to complain about on site, but it may not be what you're looking for if you plan on going around visiting Bali. It's a little out of the way and traffic is pretty atrocious unless you're heading out early in the morning (before 11 AM). My visit was for an event and it ended up being difficult every time we needed to head out. Calling for a ride can take quite some time, and going anywhere required at least 40 minutes to an hour. I highly recommend this location if you plan on remaining on resort for the majority of the time, it is very comfortable and services are excellent.

i love its view, i love its food at dua ikat and breakfast, i love the serenity. its kids club is marvelous. i don't like the room config, lack of space for living space. no transport to nearby shops or around the area, or its not clear. activities/games can be better resourced (available floaties).

The staff there are amazing. I didn't like that the room had a noticeable musty smell, i guess from the open style bathroom. The TV wasn't smart

This is my second time staying at the Renaissance. The first time was so enjoyable that we decided to stay again on this visit to Bali. Everyone is genuinely very friendly, warm and welcoming. My husband and I had the best couples massage at the spa! I can’t wait until my next visit to Bali!

Amazing

The reception area is very impressive in its design and architecture. First impressions have that Wow! Factor. The reception staff are equally impressive in their welcome and then friendly and helpful service. Facilities within including restaurants; gym and spa, and pool were all excellent. Can’t really find fault with this hotel and loved our stay here

Our first time here in Bali and this hotel clearly went above & beyond all expectations every staff member was so polite & respectful nothing like any where else. Appreciated the birthday gesture and enjoyed the facilities it had to offer and the menu was healthy and delicious have no hesitation coming back here again without a doubt. By far the best hotel experience ever. The staff is so sweet and thoughtful - they truly make the stay here wonderful. The food, the room, the amenities, the pools - everything was perfect. We would love to return to Renaissance another time.

Review solely for the food—arriving at dinner time and the Indonesian restaurant looked appealing and airy. The menu wasn’t enticing. The lady server also the one at the restaurant entrance recommended randeng which is my fav but in retrospect, opted for something hot would not lead to food poisoning. Both dishes were bland. Service from the kitchen was nice but food wasn’t prepped hot. I also ordered Apple strudel at the room but it wasn’t the real dessert at all. Came for culinary experience but the result was definitely below par, minus even. I will not stay here again. The staff seemed attentive but when I have asked them questions both at the restaurant and the lobby, they didn’t have the capacity to converse in English. Seemed brushed off my concern when mentioned about the food poisoning. He just dismissed me and followed with a comment card. It wasn’t pleasant. I don’t think the hospitality level is up to par. I was disappointed w this Marriott hotel.

This is a good property in Bali. My suggestion is to provide softer mattresses and bath salts for the bath area. Also, the battery operated bug fans for the patio tables.

I recently stayed at the Renaissance Uluwatu, and it was nothing short of amazing! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the warmth and friendliness of the staff, who went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. The attention to detail in every interaction truly made me feel like a valued guest, and I was consistently impressed by their professionalism and kindness. The resort itself is stunning, with breathtaking views, beautifully designed spaces, and a luxurious yet relaxed atmosphere. My room was spacious, impeccably clean, and filled with thoughtful touches that added to the overall experience. Dining was also a delight, with delicious food options that catered to a variety of tastes. There were a few minor issues, but what impressed me most was how Wiwin, Aldi & addressed them with such grace and efficiency. Any concerns were handled immediately, with a genuine commitment to ensuring that everything was perfect. Buzuki was also very kind and helpful. It is apparent that the team at Renaissance Uluwatu takes pride in delivering exceptional service, and their efforts did not go unnoticed. Overall, my stay was incredible, and I would highly recommend the Renaissance Uluwatu to anyone looking for a luxurious, welcoming escape in Bali, at a great price! Thank you to the wonderful team for making my stay unforgettable—I can’t wait to return!

The hotel is amazing, staff are so attentive and always so friendly and helpful. The food was really tasty. Lots of options and everything fresh and presented well. We did a pottery workshop thank you to Aldi for helping us it was a great experience. Rosa and Chen helped make my husbands birthday celebrations extra special. Thank you 🙏 the breakfast crew were always chatty and engaging thanks to Winda and crew 🙏 the DJ by the pool played some nice tunes to relax ❤️ we loved every moment at this hotel. Will definitely recommend and return.

Fantastic service, excellent food - in particular the breakfast was exceptional! The pools and facilities were terrific as well. The staff were super friendly and very attentive no matter where we were in the resort. Overall, a highly enjoyable stay and we would be happy to come back and stay here again!

fantastic hotel, breakfast, dinner great. great welcome at reception. Nice room with everything. My compliments about the staff, for exampleTina, Dika, Anga, Budi, they are very hospitable. Whether at the bar or in the restaurant. beautiful swimming pools, spa and gym.One less thing was the distance to the center or being able to wander around in the area. you are dependent on a car or scooter there. But the staff will arrange transportation for you. Really a perfect hotel to stay.

The stay here at this hotel was not that great, I had booked a king bed balcony with garden view which was not what was given to me, when I looked out the window all I saw was a few burnt trees and empty field. I had complained about it and was told if I want a better room I would need to upgrade and had to pay an extra £100 which was very poor from the staff, the hotel shows very lavish pictures and does not meet the expectations of a 5* hotel it’s more like a 2* hotel I would not stay in this hotel again and the breakfast is awful and the area of dining smells like a gutter and so many ants on the table

Excellent property and great, friendly staff. The property is perched up on the hill with views over the sea from a distance. The staff was super friendly, and even gave our children a gift when we left (hotel branded soft toy). We booked a loft room with outdoor jacuzzi - thinking that as 'loft' it would have unobstructed views to the sea, but unfortunately its on the ground floor with another block infront of us - wish we knew this!
