The location, staff, security & modern design
Pool was small and not very clean but that was solvable

The Suasana by AYA Villas were beautiful. Looked exactly like the photos online. The rooms were huge and the upstairs area was beautiful. The staff were great, especially Addi in the Cafe (he was brilliant!). The cafe itself was amazing - small, but that's all that was needed. The food was beautiful and having the pool right next to you feels great.
Sadly, the Villas weren't close to anything - it was a 10-12 min bike ride to get anywhere (but I think most of Uluwatu is like that). The roads are winding and sometimes a little steep so it's hard to walk anywhere. I wish we had known this prior to booking.

Lovely staff and a nice pool area.
It is a little bit out of the centre of Uluwatu.
