The staff and facilities were one of a kind.
Nothing, it was heaven

The facilitates and amenities were amazing. Very beautiful and comfortable stay with staffs very warm and attentive throughout our stay.
Tram service can be challenging during peak hours such as during dinner time, making getting around the resort quite troublesome. Food is quite expensive as well but grateful for staffs assistance in facilitating outside food into the resort to allow us to taste other food in Bali.

Pretty much everything is done so well. Stunning modern rooms, so many breakfast buffets and options to choose from, over 10 pools and the stunning Rock Bar only a shuttle/tram ride away.

The entire large resort is very well planned. It stands out from the rest on the island. It offers a wide selection of restaurants, pools, bars, and other amenities. All this amidst beautiful, lush greenery.
We were there one week in January. We were bothered by the noise of the renovations. I believe restaurants should have transparent gross prices (include local tax) and a clear indication that a service fee is charged (some restaurants had this written in small print). The trams should run more frequently; they were overbooked several times, and there was no space. On our last day, we couldn't get into our room because the staff forgot to extend our stay. The hotel should at least introduce a minimum dress code at restaurants for dinner. There was a woman sitting next to us wearing beach shorts, and her entire butt was visible. It's disrespectful to the other guests. We think also the staff at the pool should also enforce the dress code. One woman was swimming in a hijab. I understand, and special sun hats are natural, but a headscarf in the pool is not only unhygienic but also disrespectful, as it shows that we can all swim in whatever water we want.
Before arriving, I requested an invoice for my company. Not only the staff initially refuse to issue one (claiming hotel company data is protected!), but there was another problem upon check-out: the staff seemed that they don't know what company invoice is, they didn't know what a tax number was, and you don't even have a field for it on your form.
Housekeeping didn't know when guests were out of the room. Sometimes the first cleaning wasn't done until after 2:00 PM.

It’s an absolute haven - loved having brekkie with the fishes, the super clean and smooth surfaced swimming pools (felt way better than the resorts at Hawaii) and the style of the premises and the rooms. There’s an incredible amount to write positively about the property. One of the best I’ve seen globally.
Can’t say much to this, the property was the highlight.

Really beautiful resort in a magnificent garden estate with magical views wherever you look. Really like that kids have a dedicated pool area. Breakfast is amazing.
It’s a little bit out of the way if you want to go shopping or visit attractions (other than Rock Bar).

The staff everywhere! From the gardeners, pool cleaners, drivers, housekeepers, to the restaurant servers, kids club educators and day spa therapists, these are the beautiful people that made our holiday so memorable!! Suksma!! 🙏🏻🌺☀️😍

This a 5 star resort and you get 5 star facilities. i loved that there were trams to take us around, made it easy to see the resort. We loved the private beach and Rock bar.
Staff wasn't as helpful and tend to treat us differently from Asian people there. The facilities are great though, its worth a visit if you don't mind being stared at.

Wow the place is so vast!! So much to do and see you'll never have to leave. We stayed here for 3 nights and did not get to see it all. Food was great, service was great and we loved the tram service. We also loved using the chat to get our week planned and we had just the most perfect time :) This place is also family/kid friendly but also has areas that are adults only. We loved Rock Bar, the Spa, the mini golf course and everyone who worked there was so nice and accommodating!!! Breakfast was also amazing and you can try the different resorts each time to mix it up.
The room was beautiful but a bit dated if that is important for you. There is no smart TV so you can't put in Netflix or YouTube.
Our room was also under a restaurant (we think) so we constantly heard chairs or something moving around all night.
Location is fine, but a bit remote. Better if you just want to relax in the resort and not venture out a bit! They do offer excursions out, but more of a relax at the resort vibe.

Great location to see the sunset along the cliffs , rock bar was amazing but little pricey. Need to wait in line even as hotel guests. Facilities are amazing . With shuttles, good activities and great access to the pools and private beach. The room was cozy and not too big. Lobby is lovely.
The shuttle always very full but very frequent. Our bed linen was not clean when checked in but hotel has changed it for us immediately and offered free drinks.

The resort is huge and we can go everywhere inside the vicinity by tram.
We also can use all of the facilities inside the resort. Beautiful, clean and very well kept.
It has lots of stairs to go everywhere, no suitable for everybody.
Very far away from shopping Centre, eateries and other amenities
Quite expensive to dine in all the time inside the resort but the free breakfast is excellent.

We stayed at Rimba Hotel in Bali for the final night of our trip, and it was the perfect way to end our holiday. The resort is truly five-star – everything felt immaculate, modern, and beautifully maintained.
The staff were outstanding – so welcoming, attentive, and always ready to help, which made the experience even more special. Our bedroom was gorgeous, spotless, and incredibly comfortable, and for the standard of the room it felt like really good value for money.
The food across the resort was stunning, and the highlight was heading to the famous Rock Bar to watch the sunset with beautiful cocktails, followed by dinner on the cliffs – such a magical setting.
Yes, it was more expensive than other places we stayed in Bali, but that’s to be expected for a luxury resort of this level, and it was absolutely worth it. It made our last night in Bali truly unforgettable.
Highly recommend Rimba for anyone looking for a five-star experience that combines comfort, great service, and a spectacular setting.

The staff were incredible! You got treated like royalty. Everything was so clean and the facilities, pools were insane. The views were amazing and if you book in advance it’s totally worth the money. Definitely go to Ocean Beach pool early and there are monkey’s and the best view of the sea. Food is also delicious and so many options.
It was expensive to dine out.

Our pool room was nice
We recently stayed at AYANA for the first time, and unfortunately, our experience did not meet our expectations. Having stayed at several other 5-star resorts in Bali — including the Mulia, where we concluded our trip — we had anticipated a similar standard of service and hospitality. However, we found AYANA to be quite outdated, and the staff interactions to be rather impersonal and lacking the warmth we’ve come to expect from a resort of this caliber.
A particularly disappointing moment occurred when we visited the beach with friends who have young children. Upon requesting beach umbrellas for shade, we were provided with rain umbrellas instead. The father was expected to hold the umbrella himself — quite an unreasonable expectation considering our group was staying in a cliff villa costing over $1,500 per night. It was only after my husband intervened that the staff agreed to provide a proper beach umbrella. This shouldn’t have required negotiation.
The service across the beach area and restaurants felt robotic and inflexible, with staff appearing more focused on following rules than ensuring guest comfort. There was a noticeable lack of empathy and proactive hospitality.
Additionally, we were surprised to be charged 80,000 IDR for a small request for milk. It’s small details like this that leave a lasting negative impression, especially when you’re positioning yourselves as one of Bali’s premier resorts.
We sincerely hope management considers providing further training in hospitality and guest relations, particularly for front-line staff. The property has potential, but the experience felt inconsistent, impersonal, and, ultimately, not worth the premium cost.
Regrettably, we would not consider returning or recommending AYANA to others based on this experience.

Great and very large property, with excellent service. We liked the stay very much as there is so much variation on the property. We especially like the pools which were quiet and not crowded, and the beach side restaurant and bar with amazing sunset views. The rooms are spacious and very well appointed with very comfortable beds and beautiful green views. Truly great breakfast, both variety and quality of food as well as sitting areas, especially outside..
Nothing really

I liked the various different of pools and the buffet with very interesting koi fish. The room was clean and luxurious.
There was an adult only pool despite there being millions of kids around and no adults in the pool, which seemed a little off.

If the room tv has streaming service that would be better.

The resort is so amazing and luxurious. The service and staff are phenomenal. Breakfast is sublime. Enough choice for everyone. You feel like a queen/king while there. You’re able to go to the other 2 Ayana resorts/ pools as well, all very easily accessible by their tram system. Loved every single bit of my stay.
The pools aren’t heated, which makes it a bit cold to stay in there for a longer time. The prices of the food and drinks are high compared to the rest of Bali, but you get exceptional service and luxury in return.

The location in Berawa is excellent. An absolutely gorgeous property, well laid out, the staff was phenomenal, they accommodated us at the very last minute. I loved the chocolate restaurant that was attached, so cute and perfect for a meeting. Space. The breakfast was incredible along with the breakfast staff as well. Everyone was so kind and I could not recommend this hotel any more!
I just feel like there should be a better make up mirror in the bathroom 😊

I stayed here for a night in order to gain entry to Rock Bar at the sunset hours. Unfortunately the sky was a bit cloudy that day but luckily it didnt rain.
No regrets tho because the room was amazing; very brightly lit, welcoming and clean. It looked way nicer than the pictures they provided, trust me. The bed was really comfy and the shower was amazing i loved the hair and body wash provided!! The staff were all very pleasant and always greeted with smiles and explained everything patiently and thoroughly. A pity i didn't have the time to explore the entire grounds and other facilities. They have an app which tells you everything you need to know about AYANA including tram schedules!
Sometimes the trams coming wouldnt have seats and you'd need to wait for the next one. However there was a very kind tram driver who told me to get on earlier before the loop as the tram might be full again if i waited for the one in the correct direction.

We visited Ayana for the second time, we first visited for a holiday back in 2022 and we got engaged in Bali and came back for our honeymoon. This hotel will always be one of the most amazing places/experiences, there is so much to see and do throughout Ayana and I couldn’t recommend it any more! We will continue to visit Ayana on future holidays!
