The bar is good
My son 150cm 10 years old. Rejected for the slide due to too tall, rejected by the rock pool due to too young. He played in the slide on the first day and rejected second due to safety reason. It is the strange the resort has new rule every days and we were not informed in advanced Upstairs room very noisy and was moved to other room around 11 pm. Will keep complaining to higher management level till I get a reply.

Staff was unbelievably helpful. Both free breakfast menu and the restaurants within for lunch and dinner was of impeccable quality. There is a museum within, which is also pretty impressive.
Not much to share for improvement to the hotel. Maybe only sound insulation: Next door there was a family with children staying and it was loud in my room.

Brewok Band at After Rock bar was amazing entertainment and staff were as well
Had to repeat ourselves 3-4 times on the phone when we needed something. I know accents may be challenging to understand but maybe there needs to be higher proficiency in speaking English by people who answer calls. Also the cost of resort food and drink was over the top expensive. Value for money wasn’t really there. We’ve returned to Sofitel Nusa Dua because we feel and experience the value of money but wouldn’t return to Ayana as didn’t feel it was comparable

It is located in a neat park, where you can see monkeys, have a sports base ok, tennis, golf, gyms and fitness, a sauna, outdoor pools, but services are disastrous, the doors to the rooms in the main body do not close well, all the noise from outside is heard, the toilet was defective, the course was so every day, the evening was heard and this. You're too much money and not worth it. You get bored for more than 3 days not to stay longer.
A very bad experience! Not recommended. It is very noisy, placed near the airport. Expensive and stupid. At restaurants not all the products on the menu! Orders and after 30 minutes come and say they do not have them. Much promotion just!

the property is big, it has different properties within the resort, however it is easy to move from one to another. the rooms are quite spacious. the beds are super comfortable, the cleaning is top notch. the views are great. the breakfast has several options from around the world. Pools are great, there are so many pools to choose from, from all their properties. it is closer to the airport, about 30mins drive in Bali traffic. Staff is respectful and willing to assist and go the extra mile
that i did not keep a day aside to actually enjoy the resort and all its amenities. There is a museum, a garden, more than 10 pools, over 3 rooftop bars, a night club, entertainment, best rated restaurants, the rock bar, kubu beach, walking paths, i failed to take advantage of these as i was always out of the resort. Keep just one or two days of your holiday to enjoy the resort, you have access to everythinh.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ AYANA Resort Bali — A World Beyond Words. Where Heaven Meets the Ocean.
AYANA isn’t just a resort — it’s a living masterpiece, sculpted between the cliffs of Jimbaran Bay and the endless Indian Ocean. The moment you step through its gates, time slows. The air changes. You feel Bali’s spirit wrapped in elegance, whispering through every frangipani bloom and ocean breeze.
The grounds are immaculate, a fusion of Balinese artistry and five-star precision. Every path feels like a journey — koi ponds, stone carvings, jungle greens, and that signature scent of sandalwood and sea. The staff are the soul of this paradise — warm, intuitive, and deeply proud to share the magic of their island. You don’t just feel looked after — you feel seen.
My days flowed effortlessly — sunrise yoga overlooking the cliffs, afternoons by the infinity pool melting into sky, and nights that felt cinematic. And then, there’s Rock Bar — perched on the edge of the world. You descend by cliffside elevator into what feels like a dream — the sea crashing below, the sky blushing pink and gold, and a live DJ spinning chilled perfection. The cocktails are world-class, the atmosphere magnetic — it’s where the sun and sea perform their nightly dance, and every guest falls silent in awe.
Dinner at Kisik Seafood Restaurant was the definition of romance. Barefoot in the sand, candles flickering, the scent of ocean salt and grilled lobster mingling with the sound of waves. Fresh catch laid out over ice, cooked to perfection over coconut husk flames — every bite a story, every flavor a memory. The team there know how to turn a meal into a ceremony.
AYANA transcends luxury — it breathes it. From the serenity of the spa to the rhythm of the ocean, everything harmonizes. This is not a hotel stay — it’s an awakening.
Leaving was bittersweet. AYANA isn’t a place you visit; it’s a place that imprints on your soul.

Absolutely Everything - an amazing resort
It was a little far away from outside shops/places, however it is so cheap an easy to get a grab and it’s a resort so you really don’t need to leave as everything has been thought of.

Our stay was truly enjoyable. The breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of fresh and delicious options to suit all tastes. The dining area had a lovely view, making mornings extra special. The hotel itself is spotless, with great attention to cleanliness in both rooms and shared spaces. The gardens are beautifully maintained, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere to enjoy throughout the day. A wonderful hotel experience—we look forward to returning.

Pros
Check-in:
We spent three days of our holiday at this resort. Since we were on our honeymoon, they upgraded our room from a garden view to an ocean view, with a lush green golf course in front and the ocean stretching beyond. The view was stunning, and we really want to thank the hotel for this gesture.
The Room:
A large TV, strong Wi-Fi, and flawless access to YouTube and Netflix. I thought the room was perfect—the materials used, the heated electronic toilet, the bathtub… and you can separate the bathroom with sliding wooden doors if you like. The balcony was big enough for two people to sit comfortably, and we enjoyed the fresh coffee replenished by housekeeping every morning right there. :) Housekeeping comes twice a day to tidy up, and they provide very nice slippers. I even tore mine, and they replaced them immediately. :)) There was also an iron we used—it worked perfectly. They even provide a rechargeable flashlight in the room.
Service:
I don’t even know where to start—on a scale of 1 to 10, I’d say 11. Everyone genuinely tries to help you, and you can access all the hotel’s amenities with little to no waiting time. We even swam in the pool on a rainy day and it was heated—such a thoughtful detail.
Rock Bar:
This is the signature spot of the resort. If you can, definitely book a table here. Watching the waves crash against the cliffs while ending your day in such a high-quality restaurant was simply amazing.
Thalassotherapy:
Here, the hotel heats seawater and delivers it through 60 different jet systems across various stations. It feels like getting a massage in hot seawater. The experience takes about an hour, and then you still have additional time left to relax. If you have a rainy day during your stay, go straight to thalassotherapy—it’s a wonderful experience.
Dining:
We tried the breakfast buffet, and it was more than sufficient, offering options from many different cuisines.
Cons
The only downside was that we had to wait quite a long time in the lobby during check-in.

The location, the choice - of locations, pools, food, drinks, facilities, everything!... the service surpassed expectations consistently from everyone we interacted with, the tiniest details being considered ahead of when you needed 'it'...the 'best kept secret' location of Kisik lounge - an absolutely awesome find when rock bar was so busy...the ability to roam around the grounds so easily... the catering for little ones... all of it was magical.
The multiple influencers is absolutely out of your control and while entertaining - really prevented us from enjoying the ocean pool in the late afternoon as much as we had been - it was almost overrun with lots of loud people posing and taking photos and doing nothing else... might be great idea to limit the 'photo opportunity time' to a certain time in the day - like the river pool (although sadly didnt get chance to see this)...

Rock bar pool…rock bar…the beach…amazing food and cocktails, the fact that you had access to all hotels. The app. ALL the staff are the most kind, helpful people i have ever met in a hotel
We basically only left the hotel once to go to Uluwatu temple
Great great instructors for aerial yoga and sup board yoga
Spa is severely overpriced
Group yoga is at 06:30 (which is not complementary)

The staff were amazing! Super friendly and inviting, in particular Budi and Redi at the After Rock Bar, Yuli at the Rock Bar and Danan at Sami Sami.
There were also others but I can't remember their names.

Facilities were great, scenary was spectacular.
It was very expensive and any additional add-on's like a spare bed, extra charge for additional person (even for a child) is payable. There should be more flexibility.

The hotel is situated in a magnificent area. The view from our room was fantastic and our room was really comfortable. Watching the sunset at the Rock Bar with delicious snacks and cocktails was also wonderful. I would love to stay at this hotel when we go to Bali again 🙏🏻

This is a really top resort. The service culture, the systems, always looking to lift the standards and exceed expectations. The sheer range of options within the resort. The massive property when never feels full even when it is fully booked. Rock Bar is heavily promoted but the seafood restaurant and bar at Kisik is in fact an even better experience. Simply superb.

Loved the level and kindness in the service throughout the entire stay. The services were readily available and easy to use. We stayed in the ocean view villa which was perfect. Very spacious for 2 people with a separate lounge room area and our own pool. The pool was a perfect size for used by two people more than a plunge pool but less than a lap pool. The bedroom itself was very spacious with another TV in the bedroom. There was also a TV in the lounge room. The wardrobe was a good size with a full-length mirror that was well lit and the bathroom was very nicely separated from the bedroom and lounge room area. The bathroom itself is also very spacious with a large bath in the centre and two basins on either side of the room. The shower was very spacious with a really nice view of the garden and outdoor area. The toilet in the villa was a Toto which was also a bonus.
The resort has so many restaurant options and all that we visited in our time at Ayana were delicious. We also use the gym whilst visiting and had a very positive experience. It is spacious and Aircon with enough equipment to be able to train whilst on holiday.
My husband got a massage whilst we visited and the only negative feedback is that it would have been great to have the offer of a deep tissue/sports massage.

Breakfast is pricy but amazing, by far the most diverse and yummy breakfast I have experienced
Property with rock bar, after rock, gardens, museum and other hotel facilities and easy transport between via the shuttle it’s the most breathtaking resort I have ever had pleasure of visiting.
I don’t like price but considering what you get it’s hard to consider this a negative
It’s good value for the experience

The hotel was super impressive, and the rock bar is amazing. All the pools are beautiful and clean. We loved exploring all the resorts and hotels. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was lovely, and we had a very nice view.
A little expensive. I wish we had stayed for longer because you need the time to explore everywhere. Need flat pillows.
10.0 / 10.0
We didn't include breakfast in our booking as it would have made the whole stay too expensive.
The beach was fabulous the only downside to the day we were there is that the waves crash too close to the shore making it not very kid friendly, need to be a strong swimmer or used to swimming in the ocean to enjoy it. We had a wonderful massage down at the beach, absolutely sublime.
The pools were incredible, so many to choose from and easy transport provided by the hotel to move between each hotel / resort to experience them all.
Overall, we had a very relaxing time.
Definitely book yourself a seat at the Rock Bar.
Book for at least three nights so you can enjoy all this resort has to offer.
Need flatter pillows. Prices for food and drinks are too expensive.

The rooms were beautiful, the resort is beautiful
The food was expensive and a small can of coke was $15 AUD at the tick bar. I can’t think of one place I have traveled in the world and paid that for a coke, a bottle of water was the same price. For this reason I would not recommend this property to anyone.
