Great location in center of Venice. Owner is super nice and helpful and even did my laundry for free while I was there. Breakfast every morning was wonderful. Everything was perfect but first night when I got there super warm as it was summer and room was extremely warm with no refrigerator for any cold drinks. But room eventually cooled down and the rest of the stay was really amazing. Perfect location for seeing everything yet quiet at night away from noisy streets.

If you take a water taxi to San Angelo, the apartment is a 3 min walk from there. Thats super convenient! There are also number of well stocked grocery stores within a short walking distance. Good if you are on a tighter budget.

I recently stayed here with my family of five, and we had a wonderful experience. The location was fantastic, just a short walk from the Rialto and not far from San Marco Square, making it easy to explore numerous shops and dining options nearby. The place felt more like an apartment complex, which suited us perfectly! Our room was clean and well-equipped. The kids loved their time here, and we would definitely choose to stay again. The check-in and check-out processes were hassle-free, and the proximity to the train station made it convenient; it took us about 20 minutes to get back to the station via Line 2.

Andrea was very welcoming, and prompt with his responses through WhatsApp. The place has a very cool vibe with lots of artwork, and it is in a great location. It is a very clean and homey B&B. Breakfast has decent variety of food. We would recommend this place for an affordable way to experience Venice.

I loved this apartment and would definitely stay again when I go back to Venice. It was ideally located by the Ferry, which is extremely convenient when traveling with lots of luggage/bags. It was also centrally located close to touristy destinations AND not so tourist destinations. This was great because sometimes we wanted to get away from large crowds. Though the exterior isn’t “beautiful”, don’t judge a book by its cover. The interior was very nice, clean, comfortable, and spacious. My senior parents stayed in the master bedroom, my son slept in the second bedroom that had a twin sized bed and I slept in the queen sized sofa bed in the family room. The kitchen was also specious AND it had a washing machine that came in super handy for us because we had already been in other parts of Italy for a week. Though no dryer, I found it almost comforting and cute that I had to hang my clothes. lol. It makes you appreciate the many conveniences at home (US for us). Andrea, the host, was the best!!! Very helpful, communicative, response and just friendly and charismatic. I liked that he met us and brought us to the place personally. He showed us the apartment and answered all of our questions. All in all, I loved everything about this place and would definitely recommend it. And this comes from someone that likes to stay at nice upscale hotels.

My husband, 9 and 10-year-old daughters and I loved staying at the B&B Fortuny. It is a very short walk from the water bus stop which makes it an easy journey to and from the Marco Polo Airport. Andrea sent clear and detailed instructions on how to get there. He gave us a friendly welcome when we arrived even helping to carry our luggage up the stairs. If he's not going to be there when you arrive he again sends detailed instructions. We stayed in the mirror apartment which was fantastic. It was very spacious. It was fun to open the windows in the morning and listen to the people walking by. It has a great atmosphere. It was no problem to store our bags after check out so that we could enjoy our last day in Venice. I highly recommend it.

Very good place, in a good location. Close to the water bus station. 1 minute walking distance to a small bar where you can drink good coffee and eat crosant. The place is relatively quiet only in the morning you can hear some noises. You must remember that they charge an extra cleaning fee of 30 euros, this surprised us a lot as there was no annotation on hotels.com. There is also a tourist tax for staying in Venice which is 4 euro per person per night. On the website is 1.50 🤔

Andrea is a great host. The property is very central and clean. I had the appartement for 5 people. The sofabed is not so nice to sleep on. It was hard and makes a lot of noise. But since you would be so tired of walking, you will eventually fall asleep. If I'm back in Venice I will most definitely stay again at B&B Fortuny.

On arrival Andrea gave us a map and went through in detail all the highlights of the area along with some restaurant recommendations. Very central location, easy to walk everywhere. Room very clean with nice decor and a safe. A well stocked self service breakfast. Would definitely recommend anyone visiting Venice stays here and would recommend anyone staying here to visit La Colombina for a meal.
