Port Townsend Inn

location is good, facility is a bit outdated for this price, can hear sound from neighbor. Easy to buy food and grocery and has some water view

We stayed in a relatively large room, but the TV was so small you cant read anything while searching for something to watch. I belive we were staying directly above the laundry room a we could hear the spin cycle coming on a running for a while thrift the evening. The toilet was extremely loud when refilling and it would come in in the middle of the night and wake us up.

This property needs help. The bathroom was horrible - the door was a slab of particle board. The tub surround was disgusting. This wasn't even a 1 star property

The property was shabby the staff was not friendly

Great location

Not the fanciest hotel in Port Townsend, but the PTI is what it is, a nice, clean, convenient, comfy hotel with a friendly and helpful staff. It does all of that well, and with a smile.

We've never stayed here before this is our first time and we stayed in room 48 which is on the corner and it was very unique and really cool and it was super clean and we loved it and nice and quiet

I had a wonderful time in Port Townsend and the Inn is conveniently located for walking or driving. It was nice waking up to the seagulls in the morning. I found the downtown area to be charming but busy by 10:00 am in season. Such a beautiful area.

Great location as I took my trip around Olympic National Park. A simple comfy room, quiet area, and friendly front desk! Great location near the downtown area for food and walking around.

Nice view of the water / bay from out second floor room. Less than a 1/2 mile walk to downtown.

Staff was incredibly cordial and helpful. I complained about inadequate lighting from beside lamp which must have been 50 years old. They replaced it immediately the next morning. I also wanted an additional pillow which was delivered pronto. On arrival and departure staff was extraordinarily friendly.

Port Townsend is a beautiful little tourist trap. The Townsend Inn was comfortable as a place to sleep. No iminities. The pool was closed, and no breakfast. It was just a quiet, clean place to sleep.

This is a motel, not a hotel. Property isn't new but overall it was fine. Low pillow choice compared to some hotels but everything in the room worked and bed was fairly comfortable. Good service from staff and excellent coffee in the room.

Good to find any place at the last minute during summer season. Was a bit run down.. and the pool and spa advertised had not been operable for some time... did not get room serviced at all during 5 day stay.

Friendly staff.

The bed was very uncomfortable, but on the flip side, they have a terrific pet grassy area for my dog.

The lack of amenities was overwhelming. The mattress was bad, the towels and washcloths were lacking. The cold water faucet in the shower was virtually uncontrollable; it was either full on or full off. It was like showering and being a pin cushion. The outdoor carpet on the stairs has numerous holes and could be a tripping hazard. The photos gave me the perception that the property was directly over the beach . . . not so.

Mattress was great do not change. Room needs some better color( the walls are bright white). To much light in ceiling. Theres two but you only need one. The picture above the TV needs to be replaced with one on each side of the TV. Mirror moved to the side TV. The west wall where the sink and microwave is needs painted. Or tile like a back splash adout a foot tall to brake up the bright white wall.

The Port Townsend Inn is a budget motel and it has been around a while. However, we had an enjoyable stay and were comfortable in our room and the area. The room was clean, and the air conditioning worked well, which was nice because it was a couple of hot days. There was ample parking, and the motel was within half a mile of the charming downtown area. This is well within walking distance for us, but if you choose to drive there are lots of parking options closer, and you can catch a ferry downtown. There were many dining options, including pizza, Thai, homestyle, breakfast, coffee shops, ice cream, etc. Lots of shopping and art shops, also. The check-in process was easy, and the staff were nice. Although the carpet on the walkway outside the doors was worn, housekeepers were cleaning the lighting fixtures and dusting under the walkway roof, which tells me they care about keeping the environment clean. The carpet and fixtures in our room were in good shape and worked well. The pool and spa are out of commission because they are doing renovations, but there is a nice green area downstairs from the pool building, which was good for our dog to stretch his legs and relieve himself.

I visited this Inn for one night while my property was being worked on, so know the area well. The room had a thin door between two rooms, and the neighbors came in at 245 pm and talked loudly for one hour. The Inn did not compensate me for a lost nights sleep.

The beds were comfortable and the location was great

Older but well kept family run hotel. Very affordable, room was very nice and comfortable.

I liked the whole kitchenette setup, and how clean it was. The place needs painting touchups, and I wish we had know that the pool and hot tub were closed!

I had room 58 second floor. Was a short walk to The Food Coop just a short walk away. They have a selection of hot items for breakfast, evening Do- it - yourself service. Store is overall excellent quality food items, and service.

A little run down Clean

Don’t like the ramps in our room , trip hazards. Phones don’t work.

I wanted a ground floor room, but requested it too late. There was a table in my room with 2 chairs, but no lamp, which made it hard to read. The bathroom did not have any hooks to hang robes, etc. The strangest part for me, was when you enter the room, there are 2 steps going up. I don't know what this is for, because it's the first time I have seen anything like that.

The bed was old and lumpy, felt like it was from the 90s, the door wasnt fit to the frame so light came in from the outside, the look was a chainlink lock. I paid $145. To stay in a $60. Room. It had the quality of Aurora Ave in Seattle. I do not recommend this place.
