Perfect for a short stay.

The perfect cozy getaway!

The Swan Hotel not only met our expectations but exceeded them. We got a cozy cottage with our dog, and we were all extremely comfy. The staff even put a dog bed, treats, and had food and water bowls set up. It is the perfect location. We were able to walk to all the great restaurants and do our shopping. Being at the end of Water St. made it even more peace due to the one-way street. We will definitely be staying here again. Thank you, staff!

In cottage. No table next to bed. Had to get out of bed to turn off light. Tub was very difficult to get in and out of for shower. Grab bar badly placed. Tv difficult to view from bed.

Staff was awesome! Room was very clean and nicely appointed. Great water pressure, tiled bathroom, nice furniture. You here a some footsteps from upstairs rooms, but nothing too out of the ordinary. Otherwise very quiet. wifi easy to deal with, everything the hotel does seems to make it easy for guests to relax

beautiful view. great location. Room clean and comfortable. coffee pot, fridge and microwave. nice toiletries comfy bed curtains could use some improvement with regard to the light that comes in, in the morning. But adequate curtains with regard to privacy. An overhead fan that is quiet, for air circulation. we did not have AC in our room, but between the fan and the open window, we were very comfortable temperature-wise. We stayed 4th of July night which likely caused elevated pricing? Buy we were altogether happy with our stay.

perhaps add shades in addition to swag curtains? all other aspects as expected satisfactory

If we stayed there again and this noise all night repeated, we would definitely do things different.

There was no breakfast. Location was great.

From midnight to after 1: 00 a.m., the person upstairs was making a LOT of noise. It finally stopped for a few hours and then startled again at 6:00 -- and went until after 7:00, when he/she slammed the door and left. We have no idea what the person was doing to make so much noise right over our head but it kept us awake for several hours. Perhaps we should have gotten dressed and gone upstairs and asked him/her to stop, but we kept thinking it would stop any time. We do not fault the management for this, as they had know way of knowing unless we got dressed at 2:00 a.m. to complain.

Front counter called the day before arrival to notify of inclement weather Corday for the day of arrival. I thought that was very thoughtful.
