    The historic Palace Hotel is amazing. From the moment you walk into the lobby, it is like going back in history. It is exceptional. This is my second time staying at The Palace and staff is wonderful. Also, dog friendly! Perfect location for downtown Port Townsend. Highly recommend.

    The Palace Hotel! Name says it all.
    Such a grand old hotel with beautiful vintage decor and lovely appointments. Right on Water Street, so is very easy to walk to everything!
    Pizza smell coming from restaurant below - not a bad smell as smells go, but noticeable. What to do? Go eat pizza!

    A piece of history that serves the modern traveler with grace, charm, and convenience.
    The location is ideal for a visit to the main street in Port Townsend. Coffee, restaurants and shops are all at hand. The water view is the best way to appreciate this hotel, but the rooms are large and any would make for a pleasant stay.
    Although some may prefer to have an elevator, the stairs afford that crucial bit of exercise that does a body good. Given that the ceilings are high, the stairs between floors are plentiful so guests should be aware and prepared for this.

    The best hotel in Port Townsend
    Very quiet and comfortable room, with a comfortable king size bed. Got an excellent night's sleep. Cute vintage decorations and common spaces. I stayed here when I was 18, and almost 50 years later, it hasn't changed a bit.

    The staff are sooo nice. Rooms are cozy. Love the atmosphere. The view , We were close to the water and ferry. The kitchen had everything we needed.

    Lovely hotel, great staff and very clean and organized.
    There is no proper coffee service available. The rooms have small coffee makers.
