Adequate. It is a shame that there are not more reasonably priced hotels in Port Townsend.

The location was great and we felt very safe.

The whole place seemed sort of tired and in need of an upgrade. The staff were not very enthusiastic or friendly.

The view and sounds of the bay water are scenic and peaceful. Our room was spacious and comfortable.

Being up close to the bay water is lovely. The room provided a wonderful view of the bay, and the sound of the waves was very calming and scenic. The front desk person was friendly and helpful.

The room's TV could use an update. Many people prefer to stream their program content these days rather than be limited to just satellite or cable options.

The room was clean and very comfortable. There were no funky smells and I felt like I could relax right away. I wish I had gotten a balcony room, however. There is no air conditioning and it can get a bit stuffy. Overall, or stay was pleasant.

With no AC, cross breeze would be nice but I couldn't make that happen with just the one window. Not a big deal. Also, the pillows were so big and firm that I had a lot of neck pain. I will bring my own next time.

The view, bed comfortable

Gross dirty old carpet, faucet which made loud moaning noise when turned on, 2 hangers in room, had to ask for towels at front desk (gal cleaning rooms down the hall couldn’t/wouldn’t give them out), could have used more blankets first night.

Good location, clean rooms, great view and friendly staff.

Stayed in a balcony room on the 2nd floor. The room was clean and looked as though it had been recently renovated. The view was outstanding, overlooking the water. Enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the sailboats go by. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was in town, on the waterfront, near several restaurants and shops withing easy walking distance. The only downside was the lack of an elevator, but using the stairs is healthier anyway.

This was a good home base, but not somewhere you would want to spend your time.

The location was great- just minutes from the ferry. a quick walk to downtown, or restaurants. Beachfront was also a bonus. Staff were courteous and efficient.

This is an older facility, and while attempts have been made to upgrade, it’s still an old facility. VERY noisy, and uncomfortable, beds.

The view was great. The staff was friendly and helpful (but some things were beyond their control).

No room service - emptied our own trash, had to get our own fresh towels, cups, toilet paper, etc. Remote for TV didn't work after a day and had to go through two more before one worked (sort of). Refrigerator ran so loud and long at night we just unplugged it - thus we got to mop the floor since we had defrosted the two inches of ice around the freezer. Sandwiches in the frig froze. Heater remote went on the blink and had to call someone in at 8PM to fix it.

Waterfront Location and Seclusion

The girl who told Me that someone “complained about My Service Dogs being out and off leash” on a night (Easter Sunday) when I KNEW WE WERE NOT EVEN OUT !!!

The only saving grace was the location being okay

The hotel is just about walking distance from the town. The bed was comfortable. But that is about it really :(

The hotel is in a industrial / wharf location. Yes, it is by the water, but not pleasantly. It did not feel very safe around the area. The room looked over a derelict piece of land that was used to store deliver trucks and the chillers were running all night. Very noisy. The bathroom was small and old. The vanity unit was in the bedroom and the sink didn't drain away.

Greay stay, next time we hope to stay a little longer

The location was easy to find and close to amenities. The room was clean. The beds were comfortable and my gosh the best bath I've had in a long time. We loved that it was so close to the water.

The only downside is I wish we had gotten a water view and the stairs were difficult especially since the reservation was made including an infant, the 3rd floor was a big climb.
