Western Motel

A clean hotel, and the check-in was easy. Secured access to the rooms. Maybe a little under furnished in the rooms (only a folding chair and 1 night stand, no suitcase stand or anywhere to hang clothes), there was a refrigerator though. Great old school US highway type hotel for a night.

Helpful and friendly staff Centrally-located Two door keys stopped working in one day - Run-down area - No floormats for the slippery bathroom - No coffee, no Continental b'fast - No table in room, but there was no space for one -

Basic accomodations but great wifi.

Average room, and up keep. I was surprised that they wanted my Spouse to pay for the room. They voiced that they used my card to make the reservation. I Prefer using a credit card once.

Room was clean and appeared newly renovated. Somewhat spartan; small, one folding chair for seating, bare white walls. Had refrigerator and microwave, but no coffee pot. Perfectly fine though, if you just need a place to sleep for a night or two.

Closeness to highway, no coffee/tea in room for a motel costing almost $200 a night! Bathing soap, shampoo and conditioner were flimsy and cheap, no body lotion. It is disappointing

ok for the money paid

The western doesn’t look like much from the outside, but it is clean and the managers are very welcoming. Overall, a great place to stay for work.

Had this motel cost me under $100 I would give it a better review but for $145 I expect more than I got. The room was so small there was no space to do yoga or work out. The towels had stains on them which was very disappointing and unappealing. There was no body lotion - only a shampoo/conditioner mix which was so so and soap. On the positive side, the man who checked me in was very nice and friendly. Check in and out was easy. Other than the stained towels everything was very clean. The bed was comfy enough and it was basically ok as a place to sleep. Nothing else. I wish I had paid the $30 more to stay in Monterey as the area really didn’t have much. I was trying to save a buck but it ended up not being worth the money. Again, for a simple place to sleep it is totally fine had it been $70 or tops $80 but for $145 I want space to move around the room, unstained towels, coffee in the room, lotion and better shampoo/conditioner. In the end I understand motels lost a lot of money last yr in the pandemic and for that reason I am happy to pay the $145 if it will help them back on their feet but overall I felt a little ripped off.

Extremely clean exterior upon arrival, and very pleasantly surprised on the cleanliness of the room, and the included amenities. It offers a mini fridge, a microwave, blow drier, smoking area with a bench, great working ac/ heater, ice machine, and even a comforter!( not to mention an accidental corona left in the mini fridge) Located in a quiet residential neighborhood, yet a short walk to shops and businesses. Better than hotels that cost 3x+ the price! For a budget stay, it makes motel 6 look like a ghetto slum motel, and better priced! The hardworking staff was very competant, helpful, polite, and friendly. The only cons are minor ones; the vending machine was completely sold out, and there was no laundry on site. They were very accommodating for our emotional support animals; more than I can say about their competitors. I will definitely stay there again in the future whenever I visit the area. Be aware, it is an adult only motel, no kids; which has it's own pros and cons.

Room was small but clean and nice. My only concern is that the contract with Hotels.com plainly states that check out is at 11AM. The clerk at check in told me the check out is at 10AM, I was going to stay to 11AM just to make the point but didn't want to stick around that long. Might seem like a little thing but I don't like A**holes making up rules any time they like.

It's a bit run down. Hardly anyone staying there. Did not like the smell or the door that locked up automatically at the top of the stairs before you get into the hallway. Makes it difficult to carry things up to your room because someone needs to hold the door or else you have to use your room key every time. Room was very small and bed not very comfortable.

The owner was rude and I wasn’t allowed to have anybody in the room because of that I went to my friends house that I was visiting and ended up staying the night because I didn’t have a ride and they couldn’t come in and when I got back in the morning it was around 1030 and they had already threw my stuff out into the hallway

It was fine. Could really appreciate a motel well it is clean, very clean and this one was =)!!

Would go back again. Clean, simple, no extras...Bed, frig, microwave, bathroom, A/C. Very quiet.

Don’t be fooled of where the motel is located. Doesn’t seem much, but the service and rooms are spot on. Employees are polite so you would not have to worry about getting attitude or anything of that sort.

Very clean, helpful staff, a little way out from the Center of town but not too far

They sprayed something in the room a deodorizer or cleaner that severely bothered my throat and nose. No wash cloths.
