The hotel is great, the room was small but nice. My problem was I was given an upstairs room and they did not have an elevator. I hurt my leg and stairs have been a challenge. I was shocked that they did not have an elevator.

beautiful hotel and room, friendly and helpful staff. free parking , although limited number of spots. good communication over text messaging. very centrally located. it was loud and noisy at 11pm as they were vacuuming and cleaning the whole hotel. not a lot of places to sit in the lobby, limited access to coffee.

Location was great, staff within the hotel was great and very accommodating. The room was awesome with a great view of the square and surrounding neighborhood. Its an older property so it has a bit of character and depending on the other guests can be loud at times but all in all a very cool place.

No laundry options, our room smelled like beef tallow every night because it was right above the kitchen. They said there was a coffee bar, but it was never out. Everything around town closes around nine, including the kitchen. Staff fairly snobby.

My wife and I really enjoyed this hotel. It is a historic hotel, being well over 100 years old, but is well kept and modern. We stayed in the second floor right next to the street, yet our room was still quiet, excluding garbage man. Pablo was the first person we met at check in. He was exceedingly pleasant, professional, helpful, and nice. A big walking smile and ball of positive energy. My wife and I have nothing bad to say about our stay. This is the likely choice of future Sonoma stays.

This boutique hotel was so nice. We stayed in a bungalow room off the pool. Super cute. Amenities were on point. Expresso maker, tea pot, nice glassware, carafe of water were great. Room decor was very nice and modern. Bedding, towels, and robes luxurious. Shower with rain head and hand sprayer so nice. Lighted mirror and lighted makeup mirror was a nice touch. We had a private sitting area outside our room that we loved. Staff was friendly and walked us to our room. Restaurant was delish. Had paella and scallops was delish and just as good, if not better than Girl and the Fig across the street. Very walkable. Several tasting rooms walkable. Plaza right across the street. We were lucky to see the night farmers market with live bands, street food, and vendors. Loved our stay. Would highly recommend.

The front desk staff went above and beyond to assure our stat was excellent. Elisa was so helpful with directions to the parking lot as well as with making sure our luggage was placed in our room by the time check in was available. We also received a welcome splash of rose wine and although we missed the happy hour event, we were offered a complimentary bottle of red wine. We love staying at El Dorado were are welcomed and treated like family. I look forward to staying there again soon.

The front desk staff was very helpful and polite. Sadly, they do not wear name tags so I can't give them the proper attention they deserve. The rooms are very comfortable but small. We will defiantly visit the hotel again, it was lovely and the amenities are great. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Check in was friendly and easy, parking is free!!, restaurant is fabulous, and the room was very comfortable. Great they they have espresso machine, cold water, terrace, modern bathroom. Only complaint is it’s an old building without elevator and my bags were heavy.

Location is perfect, right on the plaza and walking distance to dozens of restaurants, bars and shops as well as a beautiful park across the street. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable, shower was very nice. Absolutely loved this hotel, will stay again! The only two items that may be an issue for some are that the room was very small, we had maybe 2 feet on each side of the bed to walk around, and the other is parking. The hotel has a very small parking lot in the back that is a little tricky to get in/out of and there is street parking but it's all limited time parking unless you go 2-3 blocks away.
