Cozy and romantic!

The Inn was full during our stay and we never knew anyone else was there. It was quiet, cozy, and located in the perfect spot just outside of the square. The staff were always smiling and helpful. This a beautiful place and we will be back. We had a couples massage on Valentines Day. It was perfect!!

Top Notch Staff and Hotel

This is the one- book it! Our recent stay at Cottage Inn in Sonoma was the perfect choice for celebrating my mother's birthday. Teri was incredibly thoughtful, greeting us with beautiful flowers upon arrival, which immediately set a welcoming and celebratory tone. Her service was exceptional throughout; she was truly personable, attentive, and accommodating, ensuring our entire experience was flawless and making our trip memorable. The location is unbeatable, just a one block walk from the lively Sonoma Plaza, allowing us effortless access to local favorites. We indulged in treats from the incredible nearby bakery, enjoyed wine tasting at Walt, and had a fantastic dinner at Girl and the Fig. Our accommodation itself was remarkably spacious, feeling more like a charming apartment. It was equipped with a comfortable bed, a full bathroom with both a bath and a shower, a fold out couch, exceptionally clean, and the huge bonus of a full kitchen. We highly recommend Cottage Inn and look forward to our next visit!

My stay was peaceful and relaxing.

The architecture was in the Old Sonoma Mission Adobe style. There was a gated privacy adobe wall around the property. We had a private outdoor courtyard for the few rooms in our section, plus a gated private small courtyard for our room. There were very nice trees and plants. The atmosphere was relaxed and peaceful. Breakfast was delivered in a basket hung on our gate - pastries filled with egg, bacon, cheese or fruit. The room had a tiny kitchen with gas stove, refrigerator, coffee and tea. The room was about 450 sq ft and easy to navigate and pleasant all around. This was my second stay, and I would consider coming again.

Charming cottage in great location!

The cottage was beautiful! Clean, essentials + more were provided. Wish the weather cooperated so we could sit out on the adorable patio. The BEST bonus was the daily warm, baked goods for breakfast - 8am sharp! Close to town. Will definitely stay here when in these parts again!

While there were lots of updated features, the room itself felt a little run down. Some light switches did nothing work. Free breakfast included two croissants left outside my door.

It’s only 2 minutes walk to downtown historic Sonoma Square.

Their so called spa treatment is only for massages, not even facial available. The name spa on their property is over rated.

The property was conveniently located one block from the center of town. It was peaceful and tranquil from the moment we stepped onsite. The rooms were also spacious. We loved the outdoor fire pit and the fresh pastry delivery in the morning.

The shower was hard to use and water would splash and flood the floor. Dresser drawer were hard to open. Lighting was not too good. Uneven tiles on side of bed floor were unsafe to walk through.

Impressed with the room all around! Incredibly accommodating and cozy.

Exceeding expectations by far! I asked for roses for valentines day and they came through with a beautiful bouquet and even chocolate covered Strawberries I didn't ask for. There was no bolt lock on the door to the room but it felt like a pretty safe area. Amazing stay. Highly recommend!

It is a lovely place and the staff was very kind.

It was very cold, and neither the in wall heater nor the fireplace did much to warm our room after the sun went down. Also, what was supposed to be a heat lamp in the bathroom provided no heat at all.
