Sonoma Valley Inn, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

The location was the main attraction of this well run hotel. Walking distance from the central square and other attractions in downtown Sonoma. Across the street from Whole Foods. Our room was very comfortable but the fireplace wasn’t worth it for one night (we thought it would be a gas fireplace).

10 dollars per self parking in a suburban town is unacceptable. I would imagine nearly all guests arrive by car, so put parking in the cost of the room rather than surprise booked guests with an extra charge. Leaving water bottles with a large $3 sign was annoying too.

The location is a winner! Walking distance to the Sonoma square. They also had gluten free breakfast options for purchase. Huge win win for me!! I highly recommend this place!!!

Unfortunately, the experience was negatively impacted by the front desk staff. The people working at reception were extremely rude, unprofessional, and unwelcoming. The way they spoke to guests felt dismissive and as if they were doing us a favor, which is not acceptable for a hotel. This significantly affected the overall stay.

room was situated perfectly to the pool/jacuzzi area and the fireplace was so cozy. The steam room was an unexpected lovely bonus.

It would have been nice to have a couple of chairs or pillows close to the fireplace. The people upstairs seemed to be up and running around all afternoon, night and even morning. It was very annoying

The only thing that I didn’t like. Is your awaken to the wheels on the maid service carts. I remember that the last time we stayed there as well. They are so loud when they roll on the ground.

Location! So close to the square. The hot tub was great for us and the kids.

Loved our "corner" suite with fireplace - very cozy room. The location of the hotel was perfect & within walking distance to so many restaurants, bars, shops, etc. Hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating.

The property location was great! Close to lots of places - all within walking distance. The property was nice and Peter was very helpful & pleasant.

Typically Hilton properties offer free bottled water in the room. There was a $3 charge for the bottled water in the room.

Parking per night extra even though there is a large parking area, no complimentary coffee., tea etc. No elevators, so awkward handling luggage. Cleaning service was OK. No new towels second night, coffee maker didn’t work. No WiFi provided.

Comfortable bed. Decor was classy.

Paying a parking fee and for the bottle of water. After paying such a steep price for the room, to be charged for those two things was cheap. We have never had to pay for a parking space at a hotel before during all the travels we have done. Also, it would have been nice to have been presented with some tea bags in the room, some black teas and some herbal teas. Not everyone drinks expresso coffee.

The hotel is newly renovated and ideally located just a block or two from the Sonoma Plaza. I've stayed here for work and for leisure and it's always my first choice because of the value.

It can sometimes be loud when people are in the pool area late at night.

Close and convenient to the town square and shopping.

The room was spacious, clean and bright, we were surprised that there was only one casual chair for a two guest. Would strongly suggest that the room be given one more chairs and end table to beverages. That would have made the room perfect.

Large nicely renovated room. Access to pool area directly from the room. Good location, short walking distance to the Sonoma town square.

Breakfast could be improved. There was only bunch of not interesting items and microwaveable stuff to buy. No breakfast room, just lobby. Didn’t buy anything till end, Only had coffee in the room. Parking late was a challenge. Not the friendliest stuff, just ok.

Room was spacious and modern. Very clean and comfortable accommodations. They also put us right next to the rest of our family and we had a poolside room which was awesome. Pool was very nice and private.

Everything about this absolutely beautiful property in the heart of downtown Sonoma was top notch. From the moment I walked into this very chic hotel, I began to relax and Iook forward to eating at one of the many great restaurants close by. Once I got checked in by the Incredibly professional front desk agents, I was given directions on how to get to my room. It wasn't very far and I was pleasantly surprised at the size of the room. It had a huge bathroom, nice entry hall & a large private safe. When you first enter you have a view of a fantastically designed living room sitting area and a beautiful, extremely comfortable, king size bed. Beyond that is a very large sliding glass door that opens and leads to a nice sized patio that can easily fit 4 people dinning alfresco. The shower was invigorating with great water pressure and plenty of hot water. Now in the living area/Bedroom there is a large flat panel tv that is able to access every subscription channel you can think of. The hotels information and assistance system is one of the best and easiest I've ever used.

Parking is the only thing I had an issue with. A space is not assigned to each room. Instead they have a first time, first served policy. This can make finding a spot after work almost impossible. I ended up having to park off property in front of the hotel.

Great proximity to downtown Sonoma. Had a lovely corner room with lots of light, and the pool was small but lovely after a long day.

The fireplaces in the rooms with duraflame logs was the best. The hotel needs tub and pool were really nice, lots of flowers and plants around, charming, self-serve laundry on sight, 5 minute walk to town square and across from Whole Foods, this place was amazing!

My room was like a cave, which was redeemed by the fireplace, but more natural light is essential.

The room was beautiful, clean and comfortable.

I asked for a quiet room and was placed across from the pool (screaming kids for 4 solid hours). I planned an overnight for some R&R. Also, I wasn't expecting a $10 charge for parking.

The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Having a fireplace was a nice touch. The Pool was a pleasant surprise. The staff I encountered were all very friendly. I also enjoyed the convenience of being able to order a cold draft upon check in after a long drive.
