Clean room after changing, all staff encountered exceptional

The room was on the top floor and only had low half doors to enter and into the bathroom. Would not suit anyone larger or with mobility issues. There was a horrible smell emanating for the bathroom. I wouldn't choose to stay here again.

Restaurant was being refurbished so our breakfast as pre ordered and brought to our bedroom each morning. Room was clean and bed was comfortable, but slightly ' tired 'with stains on carpet. We were aware of pigeons roosting just above our bedroom, which had a distinctive and noisy 'coo coo' sound. Staff went out of their way to be helpful. Very friendly and polite

Staff were friendly and helpful but this venue was offered as a 4* hotel which it most definitely wasn't. Building renovation was underway so I did not take bags out of the car and had to go to a side door to find out whether the hotel was actually open. The room was clean but the bed and bedding were worn with polyester quilt and pillows which make me sweat. The bathroom was poorly finished off and with cheap units. Breakfast was offered in room due to the ongoing works and was value for money. Go forewarned and you may not be disappointed.

Room was spotless, bed really comfortable and this hotels biggest strong point was the reception staff - especially Zaf who was welcoming, warm and so helpful with everything needed - directed me to local restaurants, booked me a taxi to work and really does understand what good customer service means. Incredible value for money

The room and ensuite bathroom were good. Everything was clean. There is some traffic noise as the hotel is on a main road. It is in a convenient location for walkable access to the town centre. The breakfast was in room so there was limited choice.

Never seen such arrogant staff in any of the hotels I booked recently. Booked the highest paid room, assuming to get better service and comfort… What a hell of traffic sounds all nights long…for two nights…that despite requested a day before arrival for a quiet room, nothing was done and no cooperation at arrival. Take it or leave it attitude. Guest was left on its own to figure and sleep in a noisy room…just ridiculous!!!

Hotel was comfortable and staff very friendly. There is no bar or restaurant at this hotel but a very nice Turkish restaurant next door. The carpet in the room was dirty and the cupboards had seen better days and the bed was squeaky. Bathroom was a nice size clean and modern. For breakfast you have to select up to four items from a number of choices on a menu the day before you require it. Your breakfast is brought to your room on a tray at a prearranged time of your choice. In our room there were two chairs and a table. The food was good. Needed the air conditioning which worked a treat.

Receptionist was lovely and friendly, I arrived earlier than check in but it wasn't a problem and I received a free upgrade to my room. Received a discount voucher for the restaurant next door, and if was lovely! Breakfast was delivered to my room in the morning. Great little hotel and I'll definitely book again if I'm in the area

Staff were extremely helpful, polite and genuinely friendly. If you are disabled in any way then you must ensure that a ground floor room is booked; no lifts and too many idiosyncretic stairs to navigate othewise. Am not sure how wheelchair users are provided for. However, did enjoy the room delivered breakfasts. Will return when next in Peterborough.

We only stayed for one night and that's why we booked a standard room. Was fine for us. I've stayed in a lot worse. Staff were polite and professional on arrival and we were made to feel welcome. My only negative(and I emphasize we only stayed one night) was that the breakfast is not worth the fee.

Friendly staff. Dinner is lovely at Tavan. Breakfast included and it isn't too bad. Comfortable beds with spacious rooms! I've stayed here a few times already and highly recommend it.

Property clean & staff very pleasant. Ground floor doors to rooms banging shut through the night and echoing along uncarpeted corridor. If you want a good nights sleep, take ear plugs & sleeping aid tablets. Good food in adjoining restaurant.
