A room with a view and a welcome as warm as the setting sun. We had an idyllic night in the Inferno room. Well worth the small upgrade fee to be facing South and enjoy the same view that the vines enjoy all year round. The bed was very comfortable, the location was very peaceful and the Ill Poggerio restaurant is the perfect accompaniment to the tranquil setting. Breakfast is simple and wholesome. The omelette was delicious and made from organic eggs that have a story all to themselves. The team who looked afye ua could not be more friendly with great english as well. We will definitely be returning to enjoy more nights here at the Wine Hotel and next time take the opportunity to enjoy the spa and hot tub. Thank you ❤️

The hotel is very tastefully and comfortably appointed with beautiful views of the mountains and vineyards in all directions. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The wine tasting in the lobby was beautifully presented and informative. The rooms are very comfortable and well designed. The restaurant next door, which offers a 10% discount to hotel guests, was outstanding and reasonably priced. We will return as often as possible!

long time since we were in such amaging hotel. ok , its not 5 stars by the book , but.... 5 stars service , nearly 5 stars room , 5 stars bed. breakfest much better than in 5 stars hotels. instead of endless medium quality buffet, you get selection of best products possible . also next door is outstanding italian restaurant in which you get discount as hotel guest.2 people expect to pay 100 euros including wine which is huge bargain for this kind of food. some of the menu could easy by included in michelin star restaurants.the view is fantastic , the owner is friendly , they have wine tasting for modest price. sondrio is only 5 minutes by car

Staff, service and accommodations were first class and extremely helpful with recommendations on restaurants, hikes, wineries, local attractions including train to St Moritz etc.. The views from lobby lounge and room balconies were magical. Overall, what you would hope a European stay would be.
