"Modern" Hotel .Very poor insulated, matress almost on the floor ,breakfast very poor and the staff forget to bring it to me, lack of parking spaces. I would not recommend

Room was spotless clean and very affordable.

Hotel MONE was a pretty good hotel. The receptionist and check in were pretty polite and efficient. The hotel itself is not in the city centre but its a fairly short walk away. Its a bit further from the Central Train Station but you can get there easily by a bus or a taxi. The journey to the hotel from the centre is quite straightforward along one of the main roads.The room was quite spacious and clean. Some of the equipment was quite dated, especially the carpet and the sofa was quite stained. Also there were lights fixed to the bed directly above my head which wasnt that pleasant. However, the room was in a good condition and clean. The bathroom was also clean and comfortable with a walk in shower. There was a big mirror which took an entire wall of the room but it made the room more spacious. That and the colour decor may have been quite odd but that didnt bother me. The best aspect of the room was its spaciousness.The breakfast staff were very pleasant and the breakfast itself, which was included, was actually pretty good. It was mainly a cold breakfast with fruit and vegetables (olives, cucumber, tomatoes and melon) with some nice bread, butter and preserves served with coffee. It was very pleasant and could be had outside on the terrace in good weather.All in all, I was very satisfied with my stay,

The room is nice and quiet. It is a short walk from the old town and the Main Street where all the shopping is. A bus stops right in front of the hotel doors, an alternative to walking. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is the same every day, but it gets the job done in filling you up. The view from the window was not too appealing- a house on the left and a cemetery on the right. Overall, I would recommend this hotel.

The restorant clerk didn't even look at me when I stepped into the restaurant. No service at all. There's often nobody standing at the front desk, although a young girl assisted me with kindness.

Reception staff friendly and helpful. Room needed renovation and carpet cleaning. Bed not made on second day although towels replaced. Breakfast buffet was basic but ok.

The room was very nice and roomy. Nice bathroom, refrigerator, good Internet, and nice breakfast. The breakfast was not extensive, but very fresh with vegetables, meat and cheese, and eggs. GREAT COFFEE. BTW, American Express is no longer accepted at the hotel. Had one dinner at the restaurant and it was not very good

Nice, modern room with modern wet room for a bathroom. Bed choice was meant to double, but got two singles. Advised simply to push them together. Parking was on street parking, which does not seem to be reserved but fortunately there was one space left each time we needed to park. Breakfast did not have much of a selection, very basic continental breakfast.

Hotel is a little old, but ok, people work there are nice. The design of my room was very strange, I do not need a 2nd bathroom and a lot of walking for me because of the wall. There's no hot water for shower, the hottest water is just warm.

Just a number of small things that stops this hotel getting a much higher rating as it is quite modern. Eg. Room door converted to card key but no way of locking door at night as a proper key is needed. WiFi if connected kept dropping out.d shower water pressure low etc.

The hotel was quite clean and modern-looking. The steps were being renovated, but were passable. The front desk clerk was helpful and accommodating, and spoke good English. The breakfast was edible but not otherwise exciting. Good location for seeing the Old City.

The staff are very accommodating. The breakfast included is very satisfactory. The rooms while very basic are neat and clean. The only down side was cigarette smoke wafting into the room during the night.

It was a nice stay and most staff are so nice. Restaurant food variety could be improved. I would have appreciated the daily cleaning of our room. Some days room was not done and no towels changed. Informed reception after returning to hotel in the evening and maid was immediately sent to do room. But overall we enjoyed our stay and would certainly return if I return to Plovdiv.

What makes this place special is the staff. Very friendly. Maria, Mikael, Simon, Desi and the rest were terrific. They made me feel at home a half a world away from home. The hotel is newer with modern bathroom fixtures ect. Air conditioning was great and very much needed. Internet very fast in room and in the restaurant. I ran a speed test and it was 50 Mbps.

I had a great night here. Had to leave early in the morning, but someone on staff packed me a breakfast to take with me. The hotel is a modern design, and rather a good looking one at that. Everything was lean and neat and good. The little glass table in my room was too small to use as a desk, but I was able to work well from a comfortable seat with my laptop. Had I needed a desk, there was one in a mini-conference room down the hall on my floor.

We had a car, so the neighbourhood wasn't really that much of a problem. It was about a 5 minute drive to city-centre. The staff were very friendly (and this includes the dining room staff). Overall, it's a great place for a short stay or for business travellers at good value. If you don't mind having to take public transportation or a taxi, the location isn't all that bad. It just wasn't what we would have preferred.
