Clean and well-maintained. Friendly helpful staff. Plenty of nearby on-street parking. Very close to the city centre. Numerous restaurants nearby, but advisable to book especially on a Saturday evening. This good value-for-money hotel is ideal for a short city visit or a one-night stopover.

The hotel is simple and quiet. I appreciated the staff flexibility and kindness when I asked for assistance. I stayed in one of their renovated room ( which I recommend as the hotel is a little bit dated). The room had all the basics you need: modern TV, shampoo and soap in the shower, towels, storage space etc.). Breakfast (Buffet style) was very good with many choices. The location of the hotel is very central and convenient. I recommend this hotel for business or a layover (not a vacation).

When My daughter booked a room for me she told me Only 68cents needed paying on arrival. The guy at reception took 10 euros stating a tax was due. I believe I was conned for his personal gain. Avoid this place.

Basic but for the price very reasonable. Location was good. Radiator did have a dripping noise and you could hear noise from other rooms/outside. The staff were very pleasant and helpful - cleaning and reception.

Stopped at this hotel on a bike ride from Paris to Omaha Beach with a couple buddies. They allowed us to store our bikes safely in a side hallway within the hotel. Played some billiards in the lobby after dinner. Continental breakfast worth the 10 euro.

Hotel needs upgrading. Room OK and clean but fixtures and fittings are jaded. Lift very slow and inadequate for number of rooms. Overall OK for a one night stopover but there is better value in Evreux

room decor is dated, and bed mattress very soft. Location is great for access to main town square and local restaurants. No bar to speak of and break fast is limited in range. This should be a 3 star hotel in regards quality of facilities, but staff were very friendly and may earn that extra rating from this.

Difficult to park and no food available in the evening on site and no tea/coffee facilities in the room although these were available downstairs at no extra charge. Good clean basic room with comfortable bed. Despite being on the main road, the room was very quiet with no audible street noise. The best feature of the room was the shower.

Sunday in many French towns is like an old-fashioned English one. Closed. So the town has a very quiet unreal feel, but finding the hotel and parking was a breeze. The breakfast was excellent value, and even though there were very few guests, we didnt see anyone else, there was a full choice of everything and every request was met without hesitation.

We staid for 3 nights in hotel de l'Orme. The hotel is in a reasonably quiet street, on walking distance of restaurants and the beautiful cathedral. We were welcomed very friendly, the room was clean and quiet.

We booked for only one night. The beds were very comfortable indeed (tending towards firm), but there were no coffee making facilities. The view was excellent (our room - 501 - was at the back on the 5th. floor).I don't recall any hanging space - not a problem for us as were staying there to break the journey - and there was no wall attachment for the shower head, i.e. you had to hold it in your hand, but the water was a s hot as you wanted/needed it to be!The breakfast was very nice - fruit salad, boiled eggs, croissants, toast, ham, cheeses etc. and the manager was very courteous, speaking reasonable English (better than our French!)On-site parking was non-existent and reception wasn't open during mid-sfternoon when we arrived. A note on the door indicated a visit to their "sister" hotel (the "Normandie", I think) could help. This was 2 or 3 minutes walk and I was able to arrange overnight parking in their small car park.If I am ever needing to overnight in Evreux again,. I'd probably try somewhere else, but only out of curiosity, since I'd be very happy to stay at the de l'orme agin.

The room was scrupulously clean. The bathroom had an excellent walk-in shower (no fiddly doors or curtains). Breakfast was a typical French one (with fruit juice, fruit, cereals etc on a buffet ) with plenty of very good coffee for the asking. Oddly enough, on-street parking in front of the hotel was quite expensive, but in the main street behind the hotel it was free and seemed very secure. There was also free 24 parking a couple of hundred metres away at the local cinema/McDonalds complex. As the hotel seems to attract mainly business people and people on their way to other parts of France, there was no noise that we noticed inside the hotel itself. The road outside was very quiet at night.

The shower was poor ie I had to stand and spray myself as there was no wall mount. Apart from that they were nice and accommodating considering we had 7 cycles with us. Its in the town centre near all the action

The hotel is not too far from the main route North-South but the map provided was useless. Even the Google map was not terribly useful. However, we found it; but when I asked where the car park was, I was told that there was not one! Only street parking. We were able to park on the pavement, right by the front door, but it could have been worse...The room was fine and breakfast was good.

This hotel was comfortable and within walking distance from the railway station as well as nice and close to the city centre and restaurants. Pleasant staff who were very welcoming.

No frills but no problems either. One thing to be aware of if arriving late is reception closes at 10pm, also the on-street parking nearby is pay and display from 8:30 am - so make sure you get a ticket if you're not planning an early departure.
