Good stopover

Great stopover to see the area - the staff were lovely and they were super with our dogs. Rooms are a tad dated but quirky and good for the price

Lovely first night on our way through France

From the outside property looks old and run down but immediately upon opening the door we were very pleasantly surprised. A modern /industrial barn type conversion , everything matching and so clean and warm. Breakfast, plenty of variety, good coffee and pastries

No coffee maker/ kettle in room despite paying for it.

Nice hotel in good location

Nice location in central old Evreux. Room clean and spacious with a very nice new bathroom.

The noise insulation is poor, both from the courtyard outside when people come back at night and also from the corridors. Disturbs sleep into the early hours ( but I guess that does depend on other guests and their inconsiderate behaviour)

Perfect for a stop over.

The facilities in the room were very good considering it is an old hotel. The receptionist was very helpful. There are a few restaurants nearby.

We were on the second floor with no lift. A kettle in the room would have been nice.

Secure parking , central location, near to "London Pub", an excellent restaurant and bar in the town centre.

Cold. Used spare blankets but they weren’t clean. Reception closed until 4:30 when booking says opens at 2.

Nice town with probably much better hotels

The hotel is near the centre of the town with plenty of shops and restaurants also Évreux is a quite pretty place.

The room was quite expensive for the location also taxes and parking and breakfast significantly increased the cost. While I would like to visit evreux again I would stay in a different hotel

No tea or coffee making facilities. Large wet room was OK, but seemed to make everything slightly damp. Some damp issues on one of the walls with skirting board bowed and coming away from plaster.

Pretty cheap, but for a reason.

Not a huge amount. It had fairly secure parking.

Building fabric was very tired. Evidence of leaking roof. Decoration needs refreshing. Breakfast fairly basic. Evreux itself was not too inspiring. We were there on Bastille Day (a Monday), but nothing much going on. Very little choice of restaurant the evening we were there.

Friendly staff and comfy bed, but needs a lot of TLC

Friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable bed and pillows. Lovely clean linen. Room as clean as was possible given that it was very old and tired. Reasonable breakfast on offer in the morning, but no restaurant in house. The hotel is very tired but we saw signs of a refurbishment going on in a different section and believe it could be returned to the amazing place we stayed in, back in 2017!

The room was very small and hot. The windows were very difficult to open. The toilet wouldn’t flush and the decor needed attention.

Nice and recently renewed room, spacious and clean, same for the bathroom! The building itself is old (no elevator) but it creates its own charm. Very big and comfy bed! The hotel has a parking for 6,50 per night but 50 m from the hotel there's a free one. Nice location.

There is no AC so we had to keep windows open for the night, it was a bit noisy outside.

Great location and staff friendly. Room was spacious and very clean.

Only one pillow on bed. Would have been nice to have a choice of 1 or 2 so I did have to ask for another one. But for us the big thing missing was a kettle and some coffee or tea in the room. You could only have a beverage if you were having breakfast in the dinner. Shame.

Water not hot enough and ran out. Wi-Fi not available on iPhone charged extra for local tax which was advertised as included in price.

A perfectly adequate place for one night. Central and teasy to find and very good value for money.

Room was OK. Smallish. Bed comfortable. Breakfast OK. No evening dinner available but near enough to walk into the nice town of Evreux. Parking was easy, safe and inexpensive for the night. We enjoyed walking around the city, the river and flowers were beautiful.

No hot water in the evening to have a hot bath. It was hot in the morning, but too late for me. First member of staff was young and had very little English, Luckily someone appeared to explain the parking arrangements.

Old hotel on a noisy street. Would not recommend.

Our room was spacious. The hotel provide parking for an extra fee.

The hotel is old, no A/C. Opened the windows but it was extremely noisy because the hotel faces a busy street. Could not sleep well because of it. A hair dryer in our room wasn't working. When asked the receptionist about it he simply handed me the key for another room to use hair dryer there. With almost empty hotel why would you put customers in the room where something isn't working?

Excellent stopover hotel in good location

This is a great hotel for a stopover. Recently refurbished rooms which are modern and spotless. The staff are extremely welcoming and helpful. They even opened up the restaurant 15 minutes early for breakfast for us!

Oldy worldly and interesting.

A Sunday is an odd day to arrive as it is self service in the afternoon. You need to contact the hotel the day before arriving to get the main gate (Garage door type) entry code. I forgot and was a bit confused when we arrived to find everything locked up. I took out my mobile phone to ring for help and found a message telling me the code. There was nobody in reception but a sheet of paper with names on and key numbers and of course some keys. From then on it was plain sailing. I was very impressed with the forethought that the hotel had shown. The bathroom was fully functional and supplied liquid soap which I find convenient. The Hotel is a two minute walk from the "London Pub" and a pint of Guinness.

It would have been nice if the wifi password could have been in the room. I had to wait until someone was available for reception to get the password but it wasn't really a problem and the gentleman was very friendly and helpful.
