I chose this hotel because of the close vicinity to train station two minutes away when visiting St Malo. The bus station is also close by making it very convenient when we visited Mt Saint Michel. Accommodations were very nice and if they had a mini-frig and microwave, this would have been perfect. The property was well maintained and if I had any other recommendations, it would be to replace the carpeting but otherwise, I would recommend this hotel for others that do not want to be near city center.

Conveniently located for an easy access to all the historical sites, the hotel provided comfort and safety. Ample breakfast with vegan options and well labeled choices was served in a bright and welcoming environment. Coffee machine with hot water option was set up in the lobby, along the microwave. Interesting in-room bathroom pod needed an extra deep cleaning, but everyday room service was very good.

Our only bad experience was, that we had a "do not distrub" sign on the door, but when we come back the cleaning staff was inside during the day. And someone was a little overzealous and throw away some stuff which we didn't wanted to. (all of our garbage was in the gabage bin, so it shouldn't some hard misunderstanding situation i think)

I spent 2 times 2 nights in space of 3 weeks at the hotel as my usual choice in Rennes was closed due to Covid until mid January. The hotel is conveniently located just outside Gare de Rennes and short walk away from city center, shopping, restaurants. The rooms are well furnished and clean but the pillows are of bad quality so affect the quality of your sleep. The bathroom is quite small. The service at reception is fine but it took me 15mins to check out as the person struggled with card terminal for payment. For this price, I definitely expected better pillow and nicer bathroom. For 6am train, the location was amazing but I will probably not stay there again.

Excellent location next to the train station. Our room had 4 beds and very spacious for all of us. The bed itself was not too comfortable for my husband and myself. Too firm. Excellent breakfast with good choices and good price.

The staff were very unfriendly and unhelpful. There was no coffee making facilities in the rooms and you have to pay to get a coffee out of the machine in the breakfast area. I have stayed in many Ibis hotel's in France and have never payed for coffee before. Location was not great.

Nice hotel within walking distance to the city centre but the surrounding area is a building site and if your on a low floor prepare to be woken by the train stations tannoy system that goes off every few minutes. I’m a heavy sleeper but it woke me a few times in the morning.
