We arrived but no-one helped with the bags, parked our car showed us to our room etc. the room is ok but quite dated and this is not a 5 star hotel. The restaurant was ok the food too and restaurant staff were really lovely.

Wonderfull room, very clean, comfy bed, great view. So friendly Staff at breakfast and dinner. More stressed in the reception. We are guests until we have left. Great food and pool with amazing view. Relaxing massage, but reduced comfort because of extremly hard bench to lie face down.

Spacious rooms with balconys, an excellent pool and relaxation areas. High quality bar food, though the main restaurant for breakfast was also so busy we couldn't face the queues. The pool area overlooks a nudist beach, but there are good cocktails and if you visit at the right time of year - it's hot!

Really nice. Really nice, if you only want to stay at their place. Nothing else in the immediate vicinity. You need anything? They have no “store”. Asprin? Nope. Sunblock or sunscreen? Nope. That’s an Uber ride . The staff was exceptional. The rooms were ok. Lots of mold on the lamp shades. Sure it means nothing, but does it? Does it really? A 5 star hotel with moldy lamp shades. Children are not preferred, yet the beach the hotel is on is a public beach. So the small kids aren’t screaming during dinner but they are the entire time you’re on the beach. And that makes it kinda suckie.

It was an amazing hotel but outdated. The hotel staff were absolutely delightful and provided first class service. I was disappointed with the restaurant menu. Very limited choice and it's the same everyday.

Wanted to leave a day earlier on a 6 night stay, as business schedule changed, and was told that I couldn't and needed to pay for the whole stay upfront, immediately upon check in, because I booked through Hotels.com, instead of directly, in which case they would have accommodated me. Doesn't match their 24 hour cancellation policy. I requested to speak to the manager, who wasn't available until the next day. I paid one night and wanted to work it out with the manager the next day. Upon return at 7 the evening I was locked out of the room and my room wasn't made up. I was told there wasn't anyone available to make it up anymore, etc. etc. Issues and attitude just continued. Eventually I rescheduled my plans so I wouldn't loose the money for the last night that they insisted on because I booked through your service.

This hotel was really amazing! We went there 6 adults to celebrate my mom’s 70 years birthday and it was just perfect! We got 3 rooms next to each other with great view! And we had a wonderful time at the pool with a view over the sea and the beach was really nice. The spa eas also nice, we got great massage and the restaurant was really good! The service was fantastic, (the waiter Oscar was there to serve us both in the mornings and evenings and he was really helpful!) The hotel is quite isolated and we loved that, it was so nice to be there in this beautiful surroundings far away from the crowd. I would love to go back for a romantic trip in the future ❤️

We have stayed at this hotel before and have always enjoyed, the location is fantastic, class of cava on arrival an improvement. However the stay left us feeling ripped off. Our room was as we expected a bit tired. We went for lunch, the menu had changed unsure wither for the better? We enjoyed a rather expensive bottle of Mar de Frades 28 euro, (our local Chinese is 18.50) OK 5 star prices!! Later we went to the pool bar for a Gin and Tonic (30 euro for 2) again 5 star prices!! After a bath Jacuzzi not working. Then dinner OMG what see photo speechless, with the exception of a plate of ham, all other starters contained fish (dont like fish) so had ham, main, disgusting and cold sent back, was offered nothing to replace, however there was nothing on the menu that I would have wanted as an alternative. Nothing was taken off the bill and apart from a half hearted apology that was that. Went to bed for the worst night sleep, bed very hard, woke numb. Our bill for the whole experience was 420 euro for one night hence Feeling Ripped Off, will not be going back.

Excellent hotel. We had room 16. Fantastic view of sea and beach. Staff was friendly and helpful. Restaurants and bars were very nice. Not a new hotel but extremely well maintained. Parking free and convenient. Only difficult part was leaving -wish we could have stayed longer.

FANTASTIC hotel. Great pool. Great views. Right on the beach. Fancy restaurant. Spa. Parking available across the street (but all spots are covered and there are plenty). Friendly staff. Towels available for free. Just make sure you bring water shoes for the beach because it is ROCKY. There are stairs or an elevator down to the beach. Pool bar is fantastic. The pool is relatively small, but I was always able to get a chair and umbrella. If there were chairs/umbrellas available on the beach, I never saw them. Close to a nude beach, but its completely separated from the hotels beach by giant rocks. The restaurant is almost TOO fancy (i.e. waiters constantly adjusting your plate and glasses that you moved out of their assigned spots), but the food was delicious. Rooms were nice - ours had a great view. These shower was small but had GREAT water pressure. AC was good. Everything in the mini-bar is included in the room cost (refills are extra). Really nice breakfast buffet. Felt very much like a boutique hotel. I would definitely stay again.

The hotel is beautiful, but located in the middle of nowhere. If you want a holiday where you can visit bars and restaurants I wouldn’t advise this holiday. You’d have to enjoy eating in the hotel restaurant every night, and it’s quite posh food - mainly fish courses. Secondly you have to pay extra to use the spa facilities, which included the indoor pool. The rooms are a fantastic size, with a fabulous modern bathroom but the bedroom furniture is quite old fashioned - though not uncomfortable. I would mainly advise this hotel for adults, it was full of kind service and the staff were great.

This was a rare occasion when we decided to go to a hotel for a break, rather than having a conference to attend. The Montiboli was perfect; the hotel is not a large faceless square building but one with charm and elegance sited on a clifftop, looking out over the sea. Our room was spacious and stylish with a generous and private balcony and the bathroom was well appointed with modern facilities. The bar was well stocked and the barman Javier was helpful and knowledgeable. The open terrace looked out over the bay and the restaurant below was similar but enclosed. Breakfast was included in our price and was comprehensive and beautifully presented; cereals, fruit, pastries, cold meats as well as hot eggs, bacon and sausages.The outdoor pool is set out over the beach and we were able to use the indoor pool, jacuzzi and steam room.I had had a problem with parking in Benidorm and Reception was able to help me with this, even though it had happened a week before our stay. Thank you.All in all, it was a luxurious stay that we thoroughly enjoyed.

Interior decoration could be better, room is with a wonderful view and a georgeus terrace but gloomy and old style inside. You need to carry your room key all the time. Going from one section to other becomes complicated without the key.
